So my best friend will stop asking for this.

Charms.
SIRIUS
"And that is why Stupefy is not hard," Flitwick finished.

But to be completely honest I wasn't listening. All I could do was stare at Remus John Lupin. I don't know why, but he was so attractive. Sirius stop he doesn't like you. He's dating Mary and you're with Marlene. The bell rang making it time for the Great Hall.

"Sirius," I heard James call.

I snapped out of my trance of Remus and followed James and Peter.

Time skip to the Gryffindor common room bc im lazy af.

As we were walking to the common room we saw the other waiting with Minnie McGee shouting.

"Stay back everyone."

Lily walked over to us and explained that there was a broken pipe in the girls bathroom.

"We have to stay in the Great Hall until they can fix it," she added.

"Great," James muttered.

Our Head Boy and Head Girl came to the common room.

"First years come with us first," the Head Girl Maddie yelled.

All of the First years walked with them. We were waiting for what felt like hours, until Maddie and Justin came back.

"Now seventh years," he called.

We followed them into the Great Hall. Once we were there, we saw mats on the floor from the door to the Professor's Table.

"Boys to the left, and girls to the right," Maddie added as she walked back to the Ravenclaw common room.

"Don't go to each other's sides. Pick a spot," Justin added then proceeded to leave to the Slytherin common room.

I of course got the mat next to Remus, with James on my right. Peter on his left.

"Sirius can I talk to you?" came Marlene's voice.

Marlene and I walked out of the doors.

"Okay so I'm sorry, but I have to end things between us. My family they said they would kill you, and I just can't," she broke into tears.

I pulled her into a hug and whispered.

"It's okay Marlene."

We broke the hug and went back into the Great Hall.

"What happened?" James asked.

"She dumped me because of her family," I answered.

"Sorry dude," James added.

"Well at least she didn't tell you it was because her family found out you were a werewolf and they didn't want their daughter with someone so dangerous like Mary did to me," Remus responed.

"That sucks Moony. At least you aren't with Dorcas who hits your arm really hard if you say something," Peter piped in the conversation.

"Sirius," I heard someone whisper.

"What?" I groaned.

"Are you awake?" The voice asked.

I rolled over to face the person.

"I am now," I groaned again.

"I heard about your little crush."

My eyes shot open to face a smiling James Fleamont Potter.
