You were right.

You did regret texting her back.

As soon as you got home you just wanted to stay in bed forever, there was no going back now, though.

What if you said you were sick..

Or got other plans you forgot about..?

You hated lying.

'Screw it, I'm going!' you said to yourself.

'Where?'

You turned your head and saw your dad standing in your doorway.

'Right.. I was about to tell you...' you lowered your voice. 'I'm gonna go to Minho's tonight.'

'Who's Minho?'

'A friend.' you lied.

He frowned. 'I don't think I've heard that name before.'

'Well.. we're not that close..'

'Then why are you going to his house?'

'He's having a party.'

Your dad walked towards you, leaned against your wall and crossed his arms.

'Are you sure you you wanna go?'

You tried to avoid eye contact. 'Yeah.'

'Really sure?' he asked.

'Yes, dad.' you answered. 'It'll be fun..'

Sounding excited didn't really work, so you smiled.

'Alright then.' your dad sighed and walked towards your door. 'Just be home at twelve, okay?'

Twelve seemed to bit quite early, but you decided to nod anyways. Getting a taxi or Uber would be way more expensive than taking the bus, which would probably not drive late at night.

After getting dressed up and grabbing your things, it was time to go.

Unfortunately,  Dahyun texted you while you locked your front door; telling you to meet up with her at the party. She said it was because she had to take care of something.

You let out a deep sigh.

"Seriously?"

Well, at least she texted you the address.

You started to walk towards the bus station, which took about ten minutes. You'd probably miss your bus.

Unless...

There would be a short cut...

You turned right and walked past the supermarket nearby.

There were a few guys standing there, they were pretty loud. All of them were wearing blue varsity jackets, they weren't from your school.

You rolled your eyes and put in your earphones.

When you walked past them you smelled cologne and cigarettes.

In between the music playing in your ears, you still heard voices in the background.

A few of them were calling you. You also heard a short whistle.

"Just keep walking..." you thought.

You crossed a corner and sped up your pace.

You saw your bus and got in just in time. When you got into your seat, you looked out the window and saw the guys looking at you.
