Lilian's Perspective
It's been two years since Megan's death. The words in her notebook still remains in my mind. The blank page...I didn't know what it was for, but I returned the notebook in it's rightful place.
Everyone quickly moved on and just last year, Gray began dating again. The weird thing is he's been dating different girls every day. Seems like that incident messed with his head. Penelope, on the other hand, went from being rich to saving money everyday. It was rumored that Megan's parents found out about her actions towards their daughter and decided to bring their company down.
To sum it all up, everything and everyone's gone haywire. Even Irene's still trying to prove that there's something more to Megan's death. I highly doubt it though.
Sighing, I checked the time on my watch. It's already quarter to 12. I should quickly- Huh? Slowing down, I examined the guy standing outside my dorm room. It's none other than Gray.
"Need something?" I asked. My question seemed to take him by surprise because I saw him flinch.
"A-ah! Lilian, right?" He tried to act casually by leaning on the wall behind him. Raising an eyebrow, I looked at my dorm's door.
No one's gonna be inside. No student wanted to room with me after hearing about the suicide that happened in there. I admit, I sometimes feel scared being alone in there but I grew used to it.
"You want to check on something?" My eyes travelled to the couple ring on his ring finger. Megan had the same one.
"Can I?! I mean umm can I?" A faint blush appeared on his cheek as he asked again. Nodding, I unlocked the door then motioned for him to come in.
I never bothered clearing out Megan's stuff. Her parents took her clothes and shoes, but left her books and bags. I wonder why...
"That's Megan's bed. You can check it if you want." After saying that, I yawned. I am awfully tired today.
Placing my bag on the foot of my bed, I took some clothes in the closet before going behind the divider me and Megan agreed on placing in case anyone comes in. I changed into my pajamas before folding my dirty clothes.
I should head to the laundry shop tomorrow...that is if I have time.
"Please don't tell anyone." Gray suddenly said while he sat on Megan's bed.
"Tell them what?" I asked.
"That I went here." Hmm... Now that he said it, this is the first time he went here after Megan's suicide. I thought he'd want to take some of her stuff, but he didn't.
"Sure." I sat on the chair in front of the study table then began reviewing for a test tomorrow. It should start from Chapter 2 to 6. Great. Another all-nighter.
"Are you always this quiet? Even with Megan?" I answered him with a simple hum as I began to place earbuds in my ear. It's the reason why Megan would bother me non-stop.
From my peripheral vision, I can see his mouth moving. He's saying something, but I'm not listening due to the earbuds. I should buy some more. They have a lot of cute designs and I want to collect them.
Just as I moved to the next lesson, I saw Gray sit beside me. He looked at the book I'm reviewing before taking it. Removing my earbuds, I was about to ask him why he did that but he proceeded to point out my mistakes on the exercise sheets.
"Ah...thanks for pointing that out." I said before placing the correct answer beside the wrong one. Well, that was embarrassing.
"No problem." He said with a smile. With one last look around the room, he stood up. "I better get going." We both didn't bother bidding each other goodbye as he left.
