i've been meaning to get this off my chest for a while because it makes me cry myself to sleep at how horrible our culture has become.

it is so sad to see people forgetting some of the most iconic names in music. For example, The Beatles redefined music and integrated races/cultures/social status, etc., and broke so many records. It breaks my heart that we treat The Beatles and other artists like Elvis, Queen, Sinatra, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, Bowie, etc., like just names on a paper instead of the amazing things they've accomplished.
if you watch documentaries you would understand how much of an impact these artists have had during the second half of the 20th century. and now, our taste in music is declining as we forget some of the greats.
we have become so numb to the cliche song about sex, and i love songs about sex because sex is normal, but that is not what music is about. music should be meaningful, creative, different, inspiring, like The Beatles and many iconic artists accomplished.
