Jackie's POV
I was woken up the next morning by the sound of explosions outside, as I heard the sounds of people screaming outside. "ATTENTION, citizens of sakurami city! Submit to the will of the German empire, or I will kill you all!" A familiar voice said from a tank. I rushed over to the tank, crossing my arms as it stopped in front of me. "Tanya! What are you doing?!" I yelled, holding my blade next to me. "Get out of my way, Jackie. You will be destroyed if you try to stop me." Tanya replied, as she fired a missile out of the tank. About 2 seconds before the missile hit me, I saw a familiar pair of wings appear in front of me, as Scarlet appeared in front of me. She smirked as the missile hit her, exploding on impact.
The smoke cleared, as Scarlet was now holding Excalibur in her hands. There wasn't a single scratch on her body from the missile, which impressed me. "Just watch, Musume. I will show you how it's done!" Scarlet said, as she lunged at the tank, suddenly appearing on the other side of the tank, sheathing her sword as the tank split apart.
Tanya aimed her pistol at me, glaring at me. "What do you think you are doing?! I had orders to eliminate a city of undead, and I was following those orders! What gives you the right to humiliate me in front of my forces?!" She said, as she unloaded bullet after bullet into my body, the wounds almost instantly healing due to my vampire status. She threw her empty gun to the ground, and she lunged at me.
I allowed her to do this, as she unleashed a flurry of vicious punches into my chest. I wasn't thinking straight as something that Scarlet just said was looping in my head.
