Anna's POV
"ANNA HURRY UP!" I heard my best friend, Harry Styles yell from outside of my window. His yelling was followed by a series of honks and more yelling.
"Harry's here! Bye mom! Bye Dad! C'mon Jay!" I yelled to my family from the kitchen. I hurriedly snatched a banana off the counter and grabbed my backpack. I am walking right by the stairs when my older brother decides to come charging down the stairs and almost completely killing me. I didn't even notice my mum wasn't in the kitchen like usual.
"Geez, watch where you're going!" I reached out to smack Jay upside the head. Just as I almost got him hard, he used his football reflexes and dodged the oncoming attack. Jay really got on my nerves sometimes, but he's my brother and I still love him. Sometimes.
"Too slow...and short!!" Jay hollered while running out the door. He's right, I'm only five foot four and he's a little over six feet tall. I glared at the back of Jay's head, attempting to burn a hole through his soul with my eyes.
My glaring was interrupted by a certain extremely impatient curly-haired freak honking his horn, ruining my 'revenge'. An exasperated noise rolled out from the back of my throat as I turned to glare at the door instead of my brother's head.
"I'm coming Styles! Take it down a notch geez." My yell echoed out the door. A gush of the cold London air came rushing in because of the opened window in the living room. Harry was parked in front of my garden, honking the absolute crap out of his car's horn.
I scowled but made my way to the door, following Jay's footsteps.
I slammed the door behind me and rushed to get shotgun in Harry's piece-of-rubbish car that might as well be a hunk of metal that does nothing. Jay was about to sit when I shoved him aside with the help of my boney elbow.
"Ow! Was that really necessary?." Jay exclaimed while rubbing his stomach. My elbow isn't even that hard. Harry was sitting in the driver's seat smiling at our childish behavior.
I smirked, "Oh absolutely." He huffed while I sat down in shotgun and gave Harry a little fist bump. Jay got in the back, throwing Harry's crap to the boot of the car. After a year of driving with Harry every single school morning, you'd think that Jay would learn that shot gun is mine. But no.
"My dear Anna! I've missed you so much darling." Harry said in a super posh accent while sitting straight up in his seat, head held high. I slapped his arm and laughed.
"Oh how I've missed you too kind sir! If I had seen you any later, I would have died of sadness by separation!" I over exaggerated. He chuckled and took my hand in his. It was like a natural instinct for Harry and I to hold hands wherever we went, as friends do.
"I know, I know. I'm the most vital part of your existence." He said arrogantly. I chuckled at his weirdness while he took a moment to scan my outfit for a few seconds.
"Oh hell no. You are not wearing that...anywhere." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" I replied, crinkling my face at the sheer stupidity. I had to make an impression on my first day back and weighing a few stones less. I had on leggings, a simple white knotted tank top, sneakers and a baseball cap repping the yankees.
"No. Go change." Harry said, he was really getting angry. I never understood why he always seemed to do this. He had every single problem in the entire world with me wearing what I wanted and with me dating. I mean, I've never even had a boyfriend because of him. I groaned but didn't make a move to get out of the car.
"Listen--what I put on my body is my choice. You have absolutely no say. Got that?" My sigh was quite loud and I was just too lazy to fight back right now.
