Chapter 35

Damian/ Robin's P.O.V.

Robin couldn't believe his eyes, Nightwing was tied up but thankfully conscious with what looked like a few cuts and bruises. His escrima sticks on a table too far for him to reach even if he wasn't as exhausted as he looked.

Ladybird didn't look much better, she was hardly standing but luckily only seemed to have a small cut on her face. She took down a final armed assailant, Robin had never seen the Riddler so agitated.

"Really? Is that all you got? A bunch of half-ass riddles and a few goons?" Ladybird said as she knocked out a guy that had regained consciousness, she used a move Damian taught her.

"FINE! Riddle me this: You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don't see a single person on the boat. Why?"

"All the people are married, seriously this is just getting boring!" He seemed to finally have had enough and charged her, as they fought he called out:

"What has cities but no houses, moun-"

"A map." She landed her first real hit while dodging one of his.

"What is found in the middle of both march and April, but not-"

"The letter 'r'." She landed another blow.

"If eleven plus two equals one what does nine plus five equal?" That was impossible, maybe if he wasn't so worried he would have thought harder but all her could think of was getting down to help Jamilati. The two stopped fighting but the two hidden heroes didn't stop their stealthy desent to the bottom floor.

"Please! It's counting with a clock, nine plus five equals two." Ladybird said exasperatedly. "Now, good night." Ladybird struck a nerve both literally and figuratively as she went to knock him out. Once he was on the floor she untied Nightwing, checking to see that he was okay. She then went about restraining the riddler and his goon's, or who she could. There were so many she ran out of handcuffs.

"Jamilati, are you alright? What happened to you two? What happened to Nightwing?"

"Code names, Baby Bird." Nightwing grunted as Catwoman lifted him, he handed his handcuffs to the two teen's.

"Make sure the police arrive, I'm taking him to the cave."

"These won't be enough, and they are beginning to stir." Robin said, Ladybird quietly mumbled something and a box of handcuff's fell into her hands.

"What?" Where in the world had she gotten those?

"Oh, relax Robin. Magic powers, remember? That way when the police have them, I can call for 'Miraculous Ladybug' and hopefully Nightwing will be healed." The Parisian heroine said as she began to restrain more of the criminals.

"Alright." Robin said, following suit after studying the red and black handcuffs.

"Those will disappear when I call on it, so we have to make sure they're restrained with normal ones too."

The police soon arrived, re-cuffing the criminals and loading them into a transport vehicle.

"Miraculous Ladybug." Ladybird quietly said after the majority of the police were gone. The ladybug's fixed the damage from the fight, and the thankfully small amount of blood on the floor disappeared. Hopefully, that meant Grayson was okay, the police officers glanced at her before simply shrugging, they were used to weird stuff happening. For all they knew it looked like nano-tech, bright pink nano-tech.

The police received their statements and news vans soon arrived, hearing there was a new heroine in Gotham. They tried to get her to speak with them, Robin simply shook his head in annoyance before telling her,
