Chapter 41

Marinette/ Ladybug's P.O.V.

"Do you want to come?" Marinette asked, she wanted to give him the choice. The bluenette was worried that he would be too tired if he went.

"Of course." Damian smirked.

"Damian Wayne, here is the miraculous of the black cat which grants the power of destruction. You will use it for the greater good. Once the job is done you will return the miraculous to me." Marinette recited the lines from memory as she took off her necklace and handed it to her boyfriend.

"I accept." Was Damian's reply as he took the ring and put it on.

"Plagg, claws out." Damian said simply before being consumed in a flash of bright green and black light.

When the light faded instead of Damian stood a hooded figure, they wore some type of black gauntlets with bronze detailing, dark gray long sleeves and pants that had a loose but practical fit, they were paired with black combat boots that had bronze detailing. He seemed to have a type of vest with middle eastern detailing along the front chest, this protective layer seemed to attach to the hood that cast a shadow over his eyes, she could just make out the outline of his mask. There was some type of bag attached at his waist.

'He looks hot.' Marinette thought simply.

"Did you just call me hot?" Damian smirked as he sauntered towards her, sheathing the sword he had in his hands. She hadn't even noticed the sheath on his back.

Marinette wanted to blush, but she wasn't going to let him win. She matched his pace and inched towards him.

"Maybe... but I think I meant sexy~" She teased wrapping her arms around his neck and under the hood, softly scratching his scalp. She noticed that doing so drove him crazy. He almost purred, she could have sworn he did but she was too distracted with his eyes to really notice. They looked even greener, brighter.

Marinette was so caught up with his eyes she almost didn't notice one of his hands going to her waist while the other lifted her chin.

"The same could be said for you, those nightclothes... tt." He chastised as he thumbed the hem of her shirt jokingly.

"Well I guess I'll have to change. Tiki, spots on." A bright pink light consumed the bluenette and when the light faded she was Ladybug. Her braid fell to her back and she merged the ladybug and horse miraculous before calling on voyage, she was about to walk through the portal but then she remembered something,

"What's your name going to be?"

"I don't know... "

"OH! I know! Alrighty, lets get to it!" Ladybug came up with the perfect name, but that doesn't mean he has to know it yet... The Parisian heroine jumped through the portal grabbing the new hero as she did so. When they came out the other side it was already mid-morning in Paris, they squinted at the sudden brightness.

There was a commotion near Marinette's school, she internally groaned before dragging her partner in the direction of the akuma.

"Okay, the akuma is always in her wand but it could be somewhere else this time so keep your eyes peeled for a dark purple/ black object. It should look out of place, if you spot it let me know so we can come up with a plan for how to retrieve and purify it." Ladybug explained as they ran, Damian seemed slightly off balance because of their speed and strength but adjusted quickly.

"How lethal are they?" He asked worried about the bloodshed and what they would be seeing. What she would be seeing.

"Oh, not very. She just got her toys taken away so it should be fine but be careful with all projectiles some can freeze you others make you do crazy things (the dolls are modeled after former akumas. Rogercop and Lady Wifi) Oh and Evilistrator can draw something and it becomes real." She tried to explain as much as possible as they neared the school.
