(Y/N POV)

In a matter of seconds darkness filled my sight, is this...death?

3..2...1

"Link Start" I exclaimed and with a few seconds flashy colours started flying past me followed by a bright light temporarily blinding me. When I opened my eyes I was stunned...it was beautiful it's just like I remembered it. A grin appeared on my face and I leaped from joy. I'm back!

I look at my surroundings NPCs and players filled the Town of Beginnings. Out of nowhere someone leaps onto my back.

"Get off me" I shouted and desperately tried to rip off the person on my back. After a couple of seconds the grip on my back loosened. I turned around and am met by my father holding my little sister.

"What have I told you S/N, no leaping onto people's backs." My dad sighed in disappointment and S/N chuckled .

"Aw cmon Y/N knows I never meant no harm! Right BIG brother I didn't hurt you did I?" S/N questioned me with a side grin on her face.

"No of course not! Now let's go play the game and level up a bit"

I said and started walking out of the safe zone. We keep on walking until we see a Frenzy Boar.

"Sweet! This here is a Frenzy Boar they're practically the slimes of SAO." I said in a smug manner.

"Okay so easy kill basically?" My dad questioned.

I chuckled and threw a rock at the Boar it glared at us and screamed a war cry before charging us.

"See for yourself." I said and sliced the Boar with my sword halting its rampage for a few seconds before charging at my father. He looked at me and I gave him a nod. He got into a stance and replicated my move.

"Nicely done dad!" S/N cheered.

"Well Y/N I think I've had enough of the little league. Is there any tougher enemies which give a decent amount of EXP?" Dad asked.

"Are you sure that's a good idea dad?" S/N Questioned with slight fear in her tone.

"Well we have one of the best beta testers with us. I'm confident that we will be okay. Plus, it's more EXP." My dad explained and gave me a thumbs up.

I nodded in understanding and motioned them to follow we went far from the Town of Beginnings and I'm not going to lie I think I'm lost...

"Y/N...are you sure you know where your going" S/N asked timidly.

I stopped in my tracks...I think I heard a twig snap...

In a matter of seconds S/N was clinging to my arm. "Y/N I think I saw something in the trees..."

I looked around frantically in search of the monster. When suddenly... A blast was launched at us. I protected S/N in the heat of the moment and when I opened my eyes my dad was on the floor he looked up at us as the life was slowly draining from his eyes. I hear my sister start to cry.

"No. It's alright S/N he's going to respawn we'll meet him there." I said trying to calm her down. I looked at my dad.

"I'll see you there then... good luck you two. Protect your little sister." My dad grabbed my arm.
