Octane wasn't lying about the match being so slow.

We had managed to clear through Salvage with no one else being there and luckily there was some good loot too. I managed to have a level three body shield, which Loba was quite jealous as she was trying to convince me giving it to her. Of course, in a teasing manner, not really being serious about it.

The cool metal from my Flatline in my hands eased me as I looked around the area in the caves, making our way closer towards bunker. My finger smoothed itself along the trigger, my eyes wild as I scanned around the area, trying to see anyone.

"Didn't realise I was with a paranoid soldier..." The sick laugh from the robot caused me to glare, looking towards him as my posture relaxed.

"It's too quite..." I stated the obvious, making sure my volume wasn't too loud as the caves echoed slightly. "It's better than being rushed or third partied.." I mumbled to myself but it seemed that Loba heard me as an angelic giggle left her lips. Looking towards her, her gaze on me was extremely warm and soft.

"What?" I asked, noticing how her lips had upturned slightly into a smirk.

"Relax Beautiful. You're not the only one watching with you." I guess she was right. I was going to say something but seeing a grenade roll into view stopped me in my tracks.

"Grenade! Move!" Revenant had already moved and Loba began removing her bracelet, ready to teleport over to our position, behind a bolder up on the hill. As soon as the blast went off, so did half of Loba's shields in which, she started to recharge immediately.

I peered over the top of the bolder, trying to get a view of our attackers but I was only met by flying bullets, causing me to duck back down, taking cover.

'Shit...pined...' I mentally growled to myself.

"Have you got your ultimate Revenant" I asked the robot, his huffing making it crystal clear that he didn't. Well, there goes that plan then.

'I need to get closer if I'm to do damage with my ultimate...'

Taking a deep breath, I looked towards Loba. "I'm going back." The look on her face was evident to know that she thought I was crazy.

"Are you nuts!? You'll be knocked as soon as you get down there. It's a 3 on 1 situation. They've got the upper hand." I knew she was right, but I needed to try.

"That's why you two will cover me..." I gripped my gun, getting ready to run towards the incoming fire. "As soon as I use my ultimate, come in and clean up the rest of the squad." Before I give them time to protest, I pelted down the hill, crossing the small river, taking shelter behind some crates before moving once again.

It had been a long time since I was in this situation. Being under heavy fire, risking my life to save others.

'It's not going to hold the both of us (Y/N)...'

A couple of bullets manage to strike my arm, my teeth gritted together at the brief pain before I felt the adrenaline kick in. I could see the other squad more clearly now; Gibraltar, Bloodhound and Lifeline.

'It could be worse...'

Taking cover behind a bolder, I was now close enough to use my ultimate. I could already feel the wires in my jacket already begin to power up my entire body, almost like electricity. Feeling it tingle in my fingertips, my eyes reopened with a wild fire burning in them. A war cry left my lips as my fist lifted before plummeting into the ground, shockwaves rippling through the area.

The sound of shields breaking was heavenly and even more so that Loba and Revenant ran towards me, knocking down Bloodhound. Grabbing a hold of my flatline, I began firing getting a couple good shots on Gibraltar before soon knocking him too.
