"I really don't think this is a great idea..." Elliot whimpered out, watching how Bloodhound and Anita spared. It was fair to say that the old girl still had some left in her. Just the thought of Anita growing old and deciding to settle down for the simple life made me chuckle.

Once we had cleared off from breakfast, I was informed today was a rest day so a handful of us wanted to go train; Anita and I being one of them. There was only a few of us; Bloodhound, Octavio, Ajay, and Elliot I guess just came for the ride.

My attention turned back to the cowering male beside me, who simply watched on, despair clear in his eyes. Rolling my eyes at his cowardice, I slapped his back ever so gently.

"Toughen up...I'll go easy on you..." I moved my way over to the matt, turning towards the male as he shuffled in front of me, noticeably grumbling under his breath. I couldn't help but chuckle slightly at his antics. Running a hand through my hair, I moved around my spot, loosening up my muscles and joints before the sparing match. It was safe to say that I was wearing some comfy clothes; a black t shirt and some black joggers. Enough to keep me flexible. Who knows what this guy may throw at me...

"If you mess up my face, it's on pretty girl." One of my brows simply turned upwards at his comment and Elliot turned into a blubbering mess. "Well- I didn't mean that you're pretty- Well, you are very pretty but- I don't- Please don't...please don't..." The male simply grumbled, rolling his eyes. "Let's just fight..." Once he had finished, I chuckled before raising my fists up in front of me, readying myself.

"I couldn't of thought anything better..." I mumbled out and soon enough Elliot took full charge at me. Quickly assessing the situation, I dodged his first hit, swiftly dodging his next. I took this as a moment of vulnerability and grabbed a hold of his arm, twisting him over my frame which resulted with Elliot on the floor. It was obvious he didn't realise that he'd have his ass handed to him so quickly so the wide eyed expression was quite amusing for my part.

However, he quickly recovered, jumping back to his feet resulting in myself to move back, bracing myself for another charge from the male. To no avail, he didn't charge at me but simple circled, which I mirrored him. I could feel the tension between us grow thicker and it was if the gym had disappeared and it was just Elliot and I sparing. If my ears didn't fail me, I would think that everyone had stopped and started to watch our intense staring match.

The circling was starting to become infuriating on my behalf as Elliot didn't make any effort to charge. That was what I thought however. An arm wrapped itself around my neck and before I knew it, I was flipped onto the floor being held in a choke hold. That bastard used his fucking ability...

"You....asshole..." I growled, my hands going straight to his arm as I tried to claw my way out of his iron like grip.

"Not an asshole...just smart pretty girl..."

My legs were beginning to struggle, flaying around to try and free myself but Elliot and his god like strength made my efforts useless. I could feel my own heart rate begin to slow due to the lack of oxygen and with that went my strength. Everything was flooding back to me...

'This isn't going to hold the both of us (Y/N)...'

I didn't want to believe her. No...I could still save her.

'No! It will hold! I'm not letting you go! I'm not letting you die here. You're going back home...you're going to see your son. Even if it's the last thing I do!'

The feeling of blood trickled down my neck, recalling how hard I hit my head due to the blast. Rubble covered the entirety of the place, with just a pillar sticking out, hovering over a pit of flames. We were at the roof...an...apartment building and now, we were in a crater like environment. I didn't know...I didn't know it was wired to blow...
