I dropped my books on my desk before sitting down beside Tai who jumped up by the sound of the books hitting the small desk.
"Hello Arden." Tai said.
"Hello Tai" I greeted.
"How was your ...date?" Tai asked now.
"Date? What are you talking about?"
He rose an eyebrow." Oliver told us this morning, that you were on a date yesterday."
I hummed lowly.
I wasn't surprised by this.
I shook my head." It wasn't a date."
"Well that's what we heard" Tai said
I looked up to see Oliver entered the classroom.
He paid no real attention to his surroundings as he took a seat a row above us.
I balled up a piece of paper and threw it at his head.
His head snapped up and we locked eyes.
A smirk crossing his lips.
"Yes Arden?" He said.
"Come here." I answered.
He stood up, grabbing his backpack.
"Oh hey Tai." Oliver sat opposite me.
Tai smiled at him." Hey Oliver." He glancing back down at the book he was reading.
I didn't even realize he had a book between his legs this whole time.
"So how was your date?" Oliver asked as he leaned back in his chair.
"I already told you it wasn't a date." I snapped.
He rose an eyebrow.
"And like I told you last night, friends dont look at friends like that."
I sat back in my chair.
"Okay then." I rolled my eyes, shifting my attention anywhere other than his face.
It really was annoying how good looking he is. I mean jeez. He sits there, doing nothing and still manages to look like an absolute god.
"Hey Arden." Evan said making us both look up.
I smiled at him." Hi."
"Umm.. you left this in my jeep yesterday." Evan pulled out a bracelet from his pocket and I touched my hand.
I didn't realize it was missing.
"Thank you. " I took the jewelry from him.
It did occur to me that Oliver was quiet this whole time.
I gazed over and Oliver was staring out the window, possibly this whole time.
"You're welcome, I'll see you later." Evan grinned at me before walking out the classroom.
I looked down at the bracelet in my hand.
"Do you need help putting it on?" Oliver looked at me, a blank expression on his face.
I nodded.
He took the jewelry from me, looping it around my wrist and clasping it.
"Tight enough?" He asked.
I nodded.
He turned his attention back to the window.
I sat back once again, looking over at Tai to see that he was laying his head peacefully with on his desk, with his eyes closed.
Hmmm he was taking a nap? Already it's only 9 in the morning. After sitting in classes all morning, it was lunchtime now.
We all stood in the cafeteria line, Oliver stood next to me.
We haven't spoken since his morning and we also have 3 classes so seeing him basically all day, I didn't want to see him at lunch.
After standing there for what felt like forever, we finally got our food and we found an empty bench.
Once again, I found myself sitting between Tai and Oliver.
I rolled my eye, ready to ask lily to swap seats with me.
"I can ask you something in private?." A deep voice whispered in ear sending a shiver down my spine.
It was Oliver.
He gazed down at me with an unreadable expression on his face.
"Um. Sure." We stood up, throwing some we'll right backs at our friends.
Oliver lead me fairly far away from the cafeteria, we stopped at the entrance to the gym and the hallway was deserted.
"I didn't exactly have a reason for bringing you out here. I guess I just wanted to get you alone. " Oliver said , turning to face me.
"But why?" I asked.
"I dont know how to explain it, but I feel drawn to you." He mumbled.
"Oh." I mumbled. " you could have just asked me out you know?, if you wanted to get me alone."
He smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah that does make a bit more sense." Oliver said.
Maybe I should read his mind? No
We walked back to the table and returned to our seats, our skin brushing.
After a few minutes, Oliver stood up, pulling me up with me.
"Come with me." He said, already dragging me off and seemingly no one noticed.
"What's the point of this now?" I asked, Oliver lead me into the boys restroom and pushed me into a stall.
I looked at him confused.
"What the-"
I cut off by Oliver crashing his lips into mine, taking me fully by surprise but strangely I didn't miss a beat and kissed him back.
He pinned me to the door of the stall, as the kiss deepened.
I accidentally let a moan when his lips moved from my lips to my neck.
He paused, I could feel the smirk on his face.
He pulled back, looking me dead in the eyes.
"That could be my new favorite song." He whispered.
I clenched my legs tighter as I felt a wetness pool in my underwear.
Oliver noticed this.
He smiled at me, his fingers grazing my skin.
He pressed his index finger against my underwear, he looked at me in surprise but after a second, his expression turned to one full with lust.
"Interesting...all I did was kiss you and you become this level of wet " Oliver said, leaning off me.
I stood there, my face as red as a cherry.
What was that?! What just happened?!
I was confused.
"We should be getting back." He said now.
He unlocked the door and we stepped out, thankfully the bathroom was empty and so was the hallway.
I was right, no one noticed we left.
Good.
"Arden, I've been looking for you all lunchtime." Evan appeared in front of me.
I felt Oliver tense beside me.
"Oh sorry." I mumbled.
"Sit with me for abit?" Evan asked.
"Sure." I blurted out without a second thought. "I'll meet you there in a minute."
Evan smiled at me before walking towards another empty bench.
I don't know why but I hesitated for a second.
I gathered my stuff but yet, I hesitated.
Was it about what happened in the bathroom not to long ago?
Or was it about happened last night?
Oliver turned his attention to me, resting his head in his hands as he gazed at me.
"What?" I asked as I flung my back pack over my shoulder.
He pointed to my neck, and I fished out my compact mirror from my bag and a look of horror crossed my face.
"You marked me" I hissed.
"Mistake." He shrugged.
I took a deep breath, yanking my collar up more.
I stood up, giving Oliver the finger which he laughed off before walking off towards where Evan was waiting.
