Error was tired. So very tired.

He hasn't seen the Creator or his council in a while. So he's been destroying non-stop. But he had to take this chance to be able to make more room in the Multiverse. It's been exactly two months and a week. Ink and Dream had mysteriously disappeared, not even Blue new what was going on.

He sighed as he made a portal to a copy of Dancetale. He didn't like this, he had a bad feeling. Last time Ink pulled this stunt, he ended up getting beaten to oblivion by an army of Sanses and Papyruses. Apparently, Ink tried to kill him with the power of an army, but even that couldn't kill him.

He took his time while on his slow walk towards the end of the Ruins. Every monster he dusted received a quick and painless death. The sight didn't even faze him anymore, he was numb to the piles of dust, the screams of terror, the pleas for mercy. And that scared him.

Was he like Ink now? A soulless being designed to fulfill one job. No... He and Ink are similar but still had too many differences. Ink was loved and looked up to by all while Error was hated. Ink had the ability to create anything and everything, he didn't.

As he made his way down the long hall towards the exit, he heard something. Quickly turning to meet nothing, did he imagine it? He wouldn't be surprised if he did. He continued, soon leaving the Ruins and starting the snowy trek towards Snowdin. He should take a break soon. If he didn't then he'll probably pass out in the middle of a fight from exhaustion. Maybe he should knit a new set of clothes, the ones he's currently wearing are starting to-

 He heard it again.

He spun his whole body back towards the purple door, his sockets were narrowed in suspicion. "I know you're there, come out." He waited. Was it the Sans of this Au? That doesn't make sense, by now they should be in the Judgement Hall. It was a pacifist run, he should be judging the human by now, right?

All he could hear was the soft crunching of snow beyond the trees. Now he was sure of it. It wasn't the Sans. They would've just teleported in front of him and started a fight. He didn't know and it pissed him off. "Do you want me to repeat myself? I said to get out here, now." Then he heard a quiet gasp. From behind one of the trees, a tall skeleton came out. He froze.

 "P-PApyRus...?"

-

Gaffe was given a quick pep talk before being placed in a random Au. If he remembers correctly, than this place should be the Ruins. He only remembered a few areas from what Ink taught him. He felt a rush of excitement go through his body. This was the first time he's seen the outside world. Sure, Ink showed him pictures of different places, monsters and humans during his lessons, but this was different. In a good way!

 Then he saw it.

A small pile of dust lay in front of him. Some of it being blown away by the small breeze. Why were their so many piles of dust everywhere? Just how old were these Ruins? Wasn't there supposed to be a caretaker or something? He was sure of it. "Keep it moving, Gaffe." He jumped at the voice, he completely forgot about the others.

"A-Ah, sorry!" He continued on his way, making sure to avoid any more dust he found. He had a feeling he shouldn't touch it.

-

 "P-PApyRus...?"

Well that was quick. Ink expected the Destroyer to be more... observant. He could see Error standing a distance away from Gaffe. He wasn't moving, or blinking, was he even breathing? The rest of the council was staring wide eyed at the scene, waiting for someone to make the first move. Gaffe seemed to have froze as well. Ink leaned into the microphone. "Remember your mission, Gaffe."
