11. Happiness

"Ara, Tomioka-sensei, you're still doing your rounds?" Shinobu asked as she entered the newly built school that took over the spot where the Demon Slayer Corps once built upon. Oyakata-sama had requested in opening a school instead, given how there was no need for the Demon Slayer Corps to exist any longer.

Giyuu could only sigh as he turned to look away from Shinobu, who had on a smile still as she proceeded to walk into the school with Mitsuri by her side along with Obanai as well, their wedding bands glistening on their fingers as Obanai was digging through his bag to find tissue for his wife.

"Tomioka-sensei is as harsh as ever," a student whined out as he proceeded to walk past the other teachers with a slight bump on his head, and the former Hashiras could only chuckle then for Giyuu had used his kendo sword to hit the student on the head for his inappropriate attire.

"Har?! What do you mean I can't fucking go in?! You want to fight, Tomioka?!" Sanemi's voice was heard and the former Insect, Love and Serpent Hashiras turned to look as Sanemi had rolled up his sleeves, ready to punch Giyuu in the face, only to stop when Oyakata-sama was seen walking towards them.

"As always, getting caught right before the fight," Tengen's voice was heard and they watched as Kyojuro appeared with a mountain of bento boxes once more, and they could only watch as Sanemi and Giyuu got onto their knees before Oyakata-sama who still had his gentle smile on his face as always.

"How many years have passed since that last battle?" Obanai whispered out as he felt Mitsuri holding his hand tightly in hers.

"A good 5 years now, we are all contented," Shinobu spoke out with a smile and soon pointed to Himejima who was seen carrying a few rebellious students who were trying to run away from the spot check by Giyuu.

"Let go of me you giant!"

"Har?! Show some respect you fucking squirt!"

"Sanemi..." Oyakata-sama's voice was heard, and Sanemi immediately tried to dig a hole into the ground to bury his head in like an ostrich would do so. The former Hashiras could only chuckle then at how Sanemi was behaving.

Clearly when it comes to Oyakata-sama, Sanemi was willing to throw away his pride to show his utmost respect to the former leader of the Demon Slayer Corps then.

"Tomioka-sensei, you were crying a little there," Shinobu pointed out, and then a flamboyant chuckle was heard as Shinobu turned to look at Tengen who was seen in his seat, playing on his mobile phone and he turned to look at the former Insect Hashira.

"That's probably because he is enjoying that bread a tad bit too much," Tengen pointed out, and Shinobu could only shake her head in response then as they were having their lunch break together in the teacher's room, and Giyuu, often had bread for lunch instead.

As well as breakfast of course.

The sound of the door to the teacher's office was heard slamming opened, and in came Sanemi with a scowl on his face as per usual. They turned to look at Sanemi scowling still, and watched as Obanai entered the teacher's room as well, together with Mitsuri and Kyojuro who had gone to the cafeteria to replenish his bento boxes once more.

"Did Senjuro not prepare enough for you?" Obanai asked, and Kyojuro chuckled in response.

"I have yet to eat Senjuro's bento! I'll save his bento for the last since his is the best!" he said with a beaming smile as always, and the Hashiras could only chuckle then as Himejima entered the room. It was a blessing to have Oyakata-sama deciding on how the school should be built. Accommodating to Himejima's size as well.
