Preface

It has been a long time since the last time that I was able to write or produce a book and due to the many issues in our country regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the resumption of classes, the lack of financial assistance to the ones who are in need, lack of medical facilities and assistance to help combat the global pandemic, I was able to create this one.

Many of us may have already figured that a lot of teens are already depressed as it is and this global pandemic is not of any help.

This short story was produced and published in order to raise awareness on the situation of the mental health of, probably, one out of ten teens who are suffering from depression caused by losing a loved one, by a break-up, by verbal domestic abuse, as well as the stress of not being prioritized by the government and their incompetence when it comes to fighting against this pandemic.

This actually was supposed to be a short story of a failed relationship. However, as I looked around, failed romance is the least thing that we should be spreading word about. We need to make use of different platforms which allows us to spread the word about what is happening around us. Feel free to leave comments should there be any suggestions or corrections. I highly encourage healthy discussions on the comment section as well.

I do hope that the objective of this story would be met and would open the eyes of the blinded and awaken the sleeping ones.

Sincerely,

chillennss.
