Author's note:

Hello beautiful people. I am not a professional writer by no means just a big Doctor Who fan. I started this story seven years ago and left it to collect dust. I hope this will be a creative way to reignite this idea I had many years ago - inspired by the show and the wonderful stories on Wattpad.

I am apprehensive to post this, but I hate for it to be forgotten and tossed. Please enjoy and thank you for stopping by :)

Chapter 1: Easter Night

Eight-year-old Lilian Meyers walked hand in hand with her mother on a London street at night. Her father followed behind, watching happily at the pair. Lillian smiled as her mother brushed some of her long brown hair away from her face and kissed her lightly on the nose. Her dad snuck up behind them and handed Lillian a chocolate piece and put his finger up to his lips.

"I saw that Will. She's going to be bouncing off the walls when we get back to the flat," her mother said.

"It's Easter Mary, let her enjoy her one bit of chocolate."

"Fine, but you are putting her to bed."

Lillian laughed as her dad stuck his tongue out at her. Her mother rolled her eyes and continued walking. Lillian began to peel back the wrapper of the chocolate when she saw something in the corner of her eye. She immediately looked away from her hands and up towards the night sky. She took off running dropping the chocolate on the floor, never breaking her gaze towards the sky.

"Lillian!" her mother and father called after her expecting her to stop.

"Look!" she shouted running faster. She saw a blue box flying out of control. A man clung to the bottom of it as it headed straight towards the tip of Big Ben.

Lillian panicked and ran faster, beginning to cry. She was about to run out into the middle of a busy street when a pair of strong arms caught her. Her vision was blurred from her tears as she looked up at the man. She didn't see his face, she only noticed the bow tie that the stranger wore.

"Oh thank God! Lillian!" her mother screamed out of breath approaching her daughter and the man. Her father following shortly after.

"Thank you so much sir," her father said taking Lillian from him and shaking his hand.

"The man in the box! He's falling from the sky!" Lillian screamed hysterically. Her parents looked up towards the sky, seeing nothing.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what's gotten into her. Thank you again sir," her mother said as she kissed the top of Lillian's head, comforting her as she cried. The man nodded and smiled.

"It was not a problem. Happy Easter," he said and then leaned in to Lillian.

"He will be fine," The man said moving his eyes towards the sky and then back down at her.

"Happy Easter Lilly Meyers. Be happy and live well," he whispered and kissed her on the forehead. Her father was distracted arguing with her mom when the man walked away. Lilly looked up to watch the man disappear down a dark ally.

"I told you not to give her any sweets Will."

"She didn't even eat any of it Mary." Her parents argued as they continued to walk. Lillian looked up at the sky, still crying for the man in the blue box.

Her mother reached into her pocket in search for a tissue, but felt something metal in her pocket. She pulled out the object and frowned in confusion as she held a beautiful copper heart shaped FOB necklace.
