The ending....
They went home early on a Saturday, and they started crying on the bed as they could not take the comments/rumors anymore.
Eventually, they fall asleep. The dream reappeared again, this time the stranger in the dream held their faces close and strongly to his and told them what happened if they didn't meet each other.
Stranger in Shawn's dream : You would have died on streets as you were fighting with some gang. They hit you with a metal and heavyweight stuff on you.
Stranger in Y/N's dream : You would have died in a car accident. It was a remote area, the person crash on you called the ambulance but on the way there, you died.
Stranger told them that they were lucky to run to each other like that otherwise it would have been worse because of warning signs that he has been giving.
Stranger : If you can't fight against it, just go with the flow. Since you are still living, make the most out of your life and do your best. Everything is a first.(*at any age)
They both understood what he meant and woke up. (They find comfort in the dream.) They realize its better to move on and cherish the moments they have now. It took a few months to heal but it was worth it. Life was precious to them now, to live in the moment.
