"Who is there?" Wendy's frail voice called out her large bedroom, her eyes where heavy from sleep deprivation but she had enough energy from the fear of being awoken.

Giggles erupted from the opposite end of the room where other windows were placed, the french windows where wide open which scared Wendy alot.

A tall figure dressed in dark green clothing carrying a lamp appeared, Wendy assumed immediately that is was a man because she had never seen a lady with such broad shoulders and long legs.

"Who is there?" she repeated, but this time she got an answer.

"Hello, I'm Luke," he told Wendy. "And this is Tinkerbell. We come from a secret, faraway place."

The flashing light seemed to have a name, Tinkerbell. The name sounded familiar, but it was still unknown.

Wendy was a shy person but felt as though she needed to know something about Luke.

"Where is this place?"

Luke ran to Wendy and grabbed her hand, she immediately began to laugh at his giddiness and childish ways; he ran over to the window were Wendy was star gazing earlier and directed her eyes to the stars.

"There." He traced his tongue against his lips, catching it on something before smiling.

"Don't be silly!" Wendy said, trying to hold back an eruption of laughter, "I bet you're just on holidays and want to cause trouble." she crossed her arms and turned away, but secretly she was smiling with her heart beating heavily at the excitement Luke had caused.

"I promise." Luke brought his hand to his heart and crossed it before giggling again, "my home is called Neverland. Do you want to hear about it?"

Wendy nodded quickly, excited to hear about the magical place the giddy stranger had arrived from.

Luke jumped onto Wendy's bed and rested his chin into his large hands, he waited for Wendy to arrive and passed the time by singing loudly.

"Well, me and Tink over here," the flashing golden light squeaked and Wendy feverishly jumped up, covering her mouth to hide giggles, as the light switched to a beautiful fairy like creature maybe only an inch tall, "are from Neverland. I suppose you wouldn't know where that is. Let me tell you! Come with me!" he quickly jumped up again and skipped to the window, he grabbed Wendy's hand and pointed up towards the dark, mysterious sky and whispered, "second star to the right, and straight on till morning!" he fell into a deep giggle before settling himself of the wooden floor and crossing his legs.

Wendy looked at Tinkerbell and was amazed, the beauty and innocence of this creature astounded her. Although she had toys and beautiful dolls, nothing compared to the sight of Tinkerbell. She flew straight past Wendy and landed on her, giggling.

"Why are you here?" Wendy questioned Luke, but her eyes still focused on Tinkerbell flying around the room, she was in awe.

"Well," he cleared his throat before beginning again, "I have been here before, but sadly you were not here. I came the first time to listen to stories. I'm here now to look for my shadow." he grinned and grabbed Wendy's hand.

Furiously blushing Wendy pulled her hand away from Luke's and put them behind her back, "Well you must know many stories, why would you come here?"

"I've heard them all before." Luke replied quickly.

Wendy nodded, feeling that was an appropriate answer. She hated hearing the same stories again, it was boring. What Wendy didn't understand was Luke's shadow being taken.

"But your shadow, how does that happen?"

Luke's cheeks turned a light pink as he laughed and put his head into his hands, "Well it's rather embarrassing but, the night I went to listen to stories your dog took my shadow!"
