Preparation

When me, Penny and Pogo arrived at the Club, everyone else was already there, chatting among themselves. Penny looked at me with fear, in her eyes.
What does she want with us? - asked Penny in a small voice.
Probably to torture us - joked Pogo. I shot him a warning look that Penny missed because she looked away, looking for Jessica.

And then I saw her. Jessica was standing in the middle of the tent on a stage. I pointed it out to Penny and Pogo and we decided to go closer. We were in the front of the crowd when she started talking.

So as you a know, we have a few new members - she said smiling at us. The crowd started cheering. What is this? Some kind of joke?

Today is their first hunt so be prepared. However, I see more potential in them than a lot of people in this room, so keep your game up Fighters - she said giving us another cunning smirk. What is this all about? Fighters? Pogo and Penny looked at me with fear in their eyes. I took a deep breath.
What is this all about? - I asked, not bothering to take the annoyance out my voice.
You'll see soon. And Harley, I'd keep a little tone when talking to me because you don't wanna go through what you did last night again do you? - she answered. Pogo flinched as she stared him down.

You three come with me - she said pointing at us.
The rest of you can go and do your work - she said, dismissing everyone else. Everyone obeyed her and started walking out, until it was just only us four.

I have been very thoughtful on which group you'll three will go into and I think I decided. - she said with a mocking smile. I sighed. What a bitch.
So you three will be part of the hunters group and only the hunters group - she said smiling.

What the fuck does that mean? Fucking explain and not leave us wondering what the fuck your saying - I burst out in anger. Jessica gave a small chuckle.

Calm down Hartley dear. The hunters are the ones who go out and hunt fir the humans. Fun, isn't it? - she said smiling. Penny and Pogo looked at each other in disbelief.

You put us as hunters for a reason didn't you? Because we had to torture Pogo because of this fucking Hunter thing didn't we? Is that why? - screamed Penny. Jessica moved her hand to silence her but she and Pogo flinched jumping back. I was the only one close to her now. Jessica took a step towards me and looked in my eye. I didn't like it. She was crazy.
Come with me you three, it's time for your first hunt - she said in a cold voice before turning on her heel.
