Kathy spends the rest of the day quiet. Shay is still mad, and when he gets back from his late hunt something's wrong. Kathy has waited up for him, and when he comes in she looks at him and frowns. "Shay? What's wrong?"
He ignores her and gets into bed. She hugs him from behind but he pulls her off. Kathy frowns harder, "Tell me Shay." She gets
Shay turns around and glares at her. "Shut up Katherine!"
Kathy stares at him, outraged. "I hate you! Go away!" Shay gets up and walks out of the house, slamming the door behind him.

Kathy throws a pillow at the door and punches the bed before howling in pain. She turns off her light and closes her eyes, but she can't sleep. She tosses and turns, and when she looks at her alarm clock she realises that it is 7am.

She gets up and sighs, relived that they are in the summer holidays. She stares at her phone, and sees a message. "Meet me in the forest." A random person has text her. She frowns, it can't be Shay, so who is it?
"Who is this?" Kathy texts back.
"This is Milla, Shay's sister. I need to talk to you. Shay says that it's fine to meet in the forest because you are with me, hurry." The person sends back.

Kathy gets dressed and rushes to the bus stop to catch a bus to Clovelly. She runs into the forest, and sees the outline of someone. As she gets closer, she realises that it's not Milla, it's a man. "Hello Kathy. I didn't expect you to believe me and come so easily." The man says in a deep voice. Kathy is frozen to the spot in fear. "I -" she begins to say before being cut off. "Stop talking." The man snaps, slapping her face. She gasps in shock and then a blindfold is pulled over her eyes and duct tape stuck over her mouth.

She passes out, and when she wakes she is tied to a chair, but thankfully the blindfold has been removed. Kathy looks around and sees the man in a corner of the room staring at her. "I timed this well. Shay won't come looking for you, not for a while. That means that I can torture you for longer..." with that the man walks over to her and slits her arm, making it bleed. Tears roll down Kathy's cheeks and the man smiles. He cups her face with one hand and crushes her jaw. She screams, although no one can hear her because the tape is still over her mouth. "He's a werewolf." She thinks, scared out of her skin. She hears her jaw crack and the blood fill her mouth. She swallows the blood, as she cannot spit it out. "Well I'm famished. I'll be back in a while..." the man says, leaving Kathy alone in the small room.

"Shay, please come." She begs in her head. Suddenly the door opens and Kathy looks up, only to see the man walk in. "Sweet Kathy, don't cry so. I think I'm being quite... gentle with you."
He leans down and kisses her roughly and she tries to pull away, but she can't. He bites her lip hard, causing blood to trickle down her chin. He grins and slides his hand under her top. She wriggles away but doesn't get far. The man squeezes her arm tight, and Kathy fears he will break it. "Stop. Struggling." He growls. His phone rings and he pulls away much to Kathy's relief. "What?" He shouts angrily. He smiles grimly and says, "Yes I have her. What are you gonna do about it?" He hangs up and makes his way over to Kathy again. "Looks like we haven't got much time left Kathy. Better make the most of it..." he grabs her right leg roughly and pulls on it. She screams again in pain. He's dislocated it. Words can't describe how much pain she is in. He pushes over her chair and her face slams into the splintering wooden floorboards, causing her face to become scratched and small pieces of wood to stick in her skin.

Suddenly the door is kicked down and Shay strides in. He looks at Kathy and his face registers shock, horror, and then fury. He flies at the man, causing him to crash to the ground. They fight for ages, and when they break apart the man is lying on the floor, his eyes wide open. Kathy remembers the look, it was the same her sister had. Shay has killed him.

He rushes over to Kathy and rips off the ropes binding her to the chair. She collapses on him and he holds her tight. "What has he done to you." he whispers angrily. He picks her up and dashes to his house. He sits her on the bed and gently pulls the wood out of her face, placing them on a metal tray. He locks his door and shuts his curtains before taking off her shirt. "Shay -" she murmurs, but he silences her. "I'm trying to help you Kath."
He stares at the cuts on her arms that Kathy didn't realise were there. He sucks in a large breath, barely containing his anger. He cleans the cuts and kisses them in turn. Kathy smiles, "What are you doing Shay?"
"I'm hoping this makes them better." He replies. He kisses her gently, and cups her face with his hands. She winced and he notices her jaw. He swears and looks at her sadly.

"This is gonna hurt Kath. Close your eyes and try not to scream." Shay says. He cups her jaw in one hand and quickly clicks it back in place. Kathy holds on a scream and Shay kisses me softly, "My brave girl. Is there pain anywhere else?" Kathy points at her right leg. Shay carefully pulls off her shorts and curls his hand around the top of her thigh. "This will hurt more, ok?" All Kathy is thinking of is the fact that Shay's hand is on her thigh. She nods and closes her eyes. She screams this times and tears start running down her cheeks. Shay wipes them away and manages a smile. "Such a brave girl." Shay repeats before kissing her. Kathy looks down at his hand resting on her thigh. She pulls him to her and kisses him. He kisses her back urgently, and then pulls back. "I'm sorry for what happened earlier." He says. Kathy shakes her head, "It's ok, but please tell me what happened."
"...well I was still mad at myself, so I changed and someone saw me in my wolf form. I'm so stupid!" He starts getting angry, so she pulls him to his lips and he gives in easily.

"I'm scared I'll hurt you again." Shay murmurs into her neck. "Well then let me be ontop. You won't have to worry about crushing me then." Kathy whispers on his ear. He smiles and rolls over so that she's ontop. "I really love you Kath. I can't believe that bast-"
Kathy stops him, "Don't think about him ok? He's gone." Shay kisses her harder and pulls her legs around him tighter. Kathy winces, "Careful with the leg."
"Oh god sorry Kath." he apologises, loosening his grip. "It's fine. Now shut up." Kathy jokes, kissing him and then moving to his chest. He groans softly and places his hand on her hips, pulling her closer.
