Chapter 18: His Baby

Emily's POV

The baby…It's born…It's a girl. Her name is Roselyn. She has blond hair just like her father. She has his nouse. But he isn't here. He is away. Far away. Roselyn doesn't need him. We are better without him…

This was a dream. I woke up. The time was 9am. I had to go out, because from several days I stand here closed. And it's raining outside! So I will not go out. Another day in my damn home. I went down to breakfast because I was hungry. I went downstairs and looked around. I am alone. I opened the fridge. Chocolate and toast for breakfast. After the breakfast, I cleaned off the table and went upstairs to my room. I decided to delve into the internet for any news, anything. After about an hour I closed the laptop and lay down on the bed to rest. At the same time my phone rang. "Emily, listen to me. I'm not here, but you must tell our mother that you're pregnant!" Roxy said. These words were a shock to me. "WHAT?! WHY?!" I asked furiously. "She is your mother and she should know that one of her daughters is pregnant!" Roxy said and hung up. But this time, Roxy was right. I must tell my mother. She needs to know! I called my mother with trembling hands.

"Mom, we need to talk ... immately"

"Tell me, dear, what is it?"

"Mom, I ..."

"You what?"

"I am ..."

"Tell me, my dear!"

"Mom, I'm pregnant!"

"What?! Who's the father?!"

"Ross!" I said crying.

"Ross is the father of the baby?! Honey, You're too young to be parents! Does he know about the baby?"

"No, mom, he doesn't! He doesn't know about the baby"

"I'll come to USA to see you, honey! And you're sure that Ross is the father of the baby?"

"Yes, mom, this is his baby!"

"Okay, honey. I miss you. See you soon! Bye!"

"Bye,mom! See you soon!"

I hung up. My mom will come here to see me. Me and the baby. I will probably need to explain to my mother why I kept the baby. However, this is my baby! It isn't Roxy's baby or anybody else's! I'm sure my mom will ask me to tell Ross for his baby! Is not going to happen! Ross does not need to know for his baby. Yes yes, he is the father, but he is not interested in me, so I will not tell him. At least for now...
