Allison and Dave got married in December, just as planned. She was sad to leave the family and her cute little niece, Journey, but couldn't wait to start her life with Dave. Riley trained with Claire and Dave to become the permanent Sunday school teacher. Clayton worked hard to provide for his family, but he was happy. Becky and Bryce had a daughter as well, a few months after Journey was born. Oakley had started courting Jesse and they had plans to marry.
Clayton and Riley were sad to learn later on that Journey had been born blind. But they knew it was a part of God's plan, even if they couldn't see the good behind it. Sometimes life threw many hardships their way but they dealt with them, with God's help. He was their Rock and Foundation. He would always be there to help and to guide them. He gave them true joy. He was the Light in the dark world, shining His Perfect Love down on all of them.
