Melanie grabbed her hand back from Scott with a weak smile "It's a pleasure meeting you Scott,"
"Now my daughter, you favor men are alike" both men chuckled.
"What can we say, we have our way with women"
Scott had his eyes on her waiting for some sort of reaction but instead she looked at him with narrow eyes and annoyance.
"Father" she then turned to the mayor "Mr.Favors, if you'll excuse me I'd like to get some fresh air" she halfway curtsied as she turned away from said people.
"Don't go too far Melanie, you wouldn't want us to worry dear," her stepmother gave her a disgusting smirk.
"Of course mother," she gave a fake smile towards Lorraine before she was off.
Melanie started her walk, hopefully finding some place to be alone and outside. She walked and walked until she noticed a night terrace with no one around.
"Perfect" she thought as she walked toward the little terrace hoping to be alone with her thoughts.
She took a step onto the terrace, leaning on the rails and looked up seeing the beautiful starry night. Finally calm, she began replaying the scene over and over again, oh how she wished those moronic adults weren't there than maybe she can show that Scott kid a lesson. Kissing her hand, disgusting, she hated when guys did those kinds of things. Especially guys like Scott Favors, little white rich boys who have no sense of morals and only think with their p-
"Ahem" Scott cleared his throat, trying to grab her attention. He was genuinely surprised of her reaction when he gave her that hand kiss, usually most girls would turn red or flirt back but no not this one she was different. He liked different.
"Melanie was it not" she froze, "Madre Mia por favor don't tell me it's him" she thought as she turned to the door of the terrace. "Fuck it is him" she put on a fake smile. "Yes, Scott" she said as she walked closer to him.
"You can drop the act, I can see right through that fake smile of yours" he walked closer to her, looking down and smirking. He saw the way her face turned into a scowl.
"Great now I don't have to pretend to like you" she looked up at him. "Now that you know I was faking it, vete a la chingada daddy's boy I wanna be alone" she swatted her hand in the direction of the door. She was expecting him to through a tantrum and whine about not wanting to go but now she honestly was surprised he could see right through her facade.
"Such vulgar words coming from a creature born to be gentle, but I'm not here to dictate your emotions, on the contrary I'm interested on why you do it," he chuckled. She looked at him with a puzzle look on her face "Cut that Shakespeare shit out wey, and why should I tell a spoiled brat like you when your just gonna go squeal to my father about it" she crossed her arms and gave him a suspicious look.
