Hey guys, sorry I didn't finish this sooner. Anyways I didn't add a cover for this because the cover I tried making is horrible and currently I don't have time to make another. 0-0 When I do have time, however, I will add a good cover. For the meantime, you guys can read this without having to wait any longer. Anyways, hope you enjoy the book!
Glory walked back and forth. She didn't mean to yell at him. Something was wrong with her. She felt it. She even wanted to do stuff she used to never think of doing.
"I'm sure it's nothing and just the NightWings lying again." DeathBringer said.
Glory looked up. The NightWing was sitting near Glory's throne. Glory had green scales. Her wings were orange and yellow. She had some spots that had red and blue. But right now she was white. Glory was a Rainwing. And not just any Rainwing. THE Rainwing. A Dragonet of Destiny. She was also the queen of both NightWings and Rainwings. When she heard the news about Sightseeker she didn't know what to do. She kept checking on him constantly. She knew that made DeathBringer jealous. But she didn't only want to make him jealous. Sightseeker was an important NightWing. If he was blind, his value would decrease. Especially if Sightseeker didn't know what caused him to become blind. Sightseeker was almost as good as Clearsight with visions. She didn't know if blind Nightwings can still see the future and have visions. But if they can't, Sightseeker would be worthless.
"Glory,"
DeathBringer grabbed Glory's claw.
Glory looked at the NightWing. Her scales turned orange with irritation. DeathBringer let go and put his claws up in defeat.
"There were two dragons who visited Sightseeker before he went blind."
Glory's scales turned back to their rightful colors.
"Who?" She asked.
DeathBringer looked up at his Queen.
"Demon and FateSpeaker."Chapter 1
Demon didn't know what happened. The prophecy FateSpeaker told them was kept in his mind all day.
"We went to the NightWing Village." FateSpeaker said.
Beetle laid on his back. His wings were half opened. Why though? Beetle remembered that when FateSpeaker told the prophecy Demon had no idea what she was talking about.
"You don't remember? It happened yesterday!" FateSpeaker told Demon.
Beetle covered his eyes with his talons. Something didn't feel right. Nothing felt right. Beetle had this urge, a urge to sleep forever. Beetle was in the Jade Winglet's room. Tsunami was trying to find a cave to put us all in and possible create and new winglet for us. Even though all this was going on Beetle was glad to find another NightWing-Sandwing hybrid. But they were still very different. Beetle barely had any NightWing in him though. Beetle closed his green eyes. The only part of him that was NightWing were his dark yellow sail, snout, and upper scales. You can barely see the silver scales on his wings because his wings were yellow and it was hard to see anything white because of it. His eye color wasn't right either. Beetle's eyes were green. Beetle spread his wings more than halfway open. If this was how he'll live the rest of his life it would be fine. Beetle closed his eyes.
"Shh."
Beetle opened his eyes. FateSpeaker was just out the hall. FateSpeaker looked at the Sandwing.
"Dang it!" She sat down. "I'm caught."
Beetle looked around. The other dragonets were sleeping.
"Why are you trying to sneak out? if that's even what your doing." Beetle said.
"I'm not trying to sneak out, I'm trying to spy on Tsunami!" FateSpeaker replied.
Beetle walked over to the purple NightWing. Her silver scales under her wings were the only thing Beetle could see to know she was still there.
"Why?" Beetle asked.
Last he'd saw Tsunami was when FateSpeaker was telling them the prophecy. And Tsunami was mad. She kept saying "Prophecies are banned!" and "No more prophecies!".
"Tsunami had been acting a little weird lately." FateSpeaker crouched.
"How so?" Beetle did the same.
"You should see." FateSpeaker motioned for Beetle to follow her.
Wait.. she was talking to someone earlier. Why else would she say "Shh." In the first place? But to who? The two dragons went to Tsunami's cave. FateSpeaker knocked on the door and motioned for Beetle to hide. A few minutes pasted. The door slowly crept open.
