Pokemon Sword and Shield
No ones POV.
Continued on from previous chapter.

Tori stood in her room making sure she has everything she needed packed away in a large ruckack.  She placed it into her cupboard ready for when she runs from this hell hole.
Tori sat down on her bed, trying to calm her nerves taking deep breath's closing her eyes. After a few moments Tori opened her eyes and looked down at the metal box sitting on the bed next to a sleeping Eevee.
Tori picked up the box, placing it on her lap looking at it 'don't open it until it's time to do so'.  Thinking back to what her mother had said before she left, felling movement and a small pressure on her leg. Tori noticed eevee was now awake and sitting next to her looking up at her with inquisitive purple eyes then moving to the box.
Eevee nudged her hand slightly giving a little "EE" in doing so. 
Tori opened the box to find a luxury ball and two envolopes with her name of them, she instantly knew who they where from and pulled out the envolopes and opened the first one with her name on the front with the number one next to it.

I had planned for us both to go return to Galar to get the help of Uncle Kabu there so that we could leave Kanto for good, but I fear your father knows of the plan so I will go on ahead alone. I will meet you in Galar when the time is right please understand, it would be safer if you did not come with me at the time I left you would have most likely fallen to same fate as myself.

I have left a friend to you who will protect you and get you away from your father but only when the time is right my dearest, Im so sorry I had to leave you with him but I have no choice I fear he will do unspeakable things you.

When your ready my darling I will meet you in Galar and I have made sure you have money to help you as well my love.

Tori pov.

I held the letter to my chest and wiped away the tears that threathened to fall, Eevee was leaning against my leg comforting me. I smiled at her cuteness and put the letter on the bed before picking up the other envelope,. I opened it and saw a huge wad of cash inside on the front it said 30,000 to help out. (Not sure how it works but let's go with it)

I qiuckly put the money into my wallet and put it in my bag, I turned my attention to the the luxary ball in the box I was about to pick it up when I heard my father shouting my name from downstairs.

'Dam! he's back early' I closed the box quickly and hid it under my bed. I turned to Eevee "you better hide sweetie!" as she jumped from the bed and hid underneath, I smiled nodding to myself knowing she is safe before turning to the door.

Taking a deep breath I opened the door and went downstairs to see my father looking very angry at me.

Tori: "y-yes father?" I asked cautiously as I fiddled with my hands before he harshly grabbed my arm yanking me down the stairs into the kitchen making me wince.

Mitch: "I leave the house for a few hours and this is how I find it a MESS! What do you think this is a hotel get this place cleaned up or else Conkeldurr will ensure the punsihment this time and get my dinner ready too" he said throwing me towards the sink catching myself on the counter, I turned to him and nodded my head quickly answering with a yes quickly getting to work.
Hours later I had cooked my father a meal and gave him a beer. He was currently sitting in the lounge watching tv and I was relieved he did'nt bring any of his pokemon out of their pokeballs.
