Chapter 3

Tori pov.

I walked out of the cafe heading towards the train station, Eevee happily eating a pokepuff in my arms as I brought my tickets boarding the train to Wedgehurst.

During the journey people where murmering about seeing a black eevee but I ignored them looking at the clouds and seeing Eevee happily watching the scenary outside, my stop soon came into view and I exited the trained.

I walked out of the station and looked around seeing a small market area up the hill a little ways, a pokemon centre to the right of that, I looked towards the right soon found the building I was looking for a two storey building at the end of the road to the train station matching the description from the lady in the cafe.

I walked towards the biulding with Eevee in my arms. I entered as I looked around noticing many book shelves filled with books lining the walls.

"Hello there can I help you?" I looked up the metal walkway to see a girl around my age, with ginger hair tied in a side pony tail, with heart shaped clips in some areas, teal coloured eyes she was wearing a brown coat over a light blue top and blue jeans, her boots where blue with black belts at the top of them.

"Hi I was wondering If you could help me get started with a pokedex and some pokeballs please. My name is Tori by the way and this is Eevee" I said smiling up at her, she returned the smile.
"Im Sonia and I have never seen a black Eevee before" as she walked down the steps towards me stopping on front of me.

" My granmother is not here at the momment but I can help. I'm sorry for asking this but how old are you?" she asked seeing that we are the same age. I smiled at her and said "17" Sonia smiled at me,"thanks sorry for asking that, its a bit rude of me" I waved her off knowing why she asked me for my age in the first place. 'must of thought I was starting my journey late' I thought.

"I think you got a letter from a friend of mine back in Kanto. His name is Professor Oak, he said he would let you know I was coming to see you" I said to her, Sonia smiled at me and said "he sure did I just need to see your pokedex from your previous region so I can exchange it for a Rotom phone" (Sonia is currently studying pokemon from other regions, and if they can dynamax or mega evolve. Professor Oak gave you a completed pokedex before you planned to leave) I said to her giving her the pokedex.

Sonia went over to a desk off to the side and picked up a tray, on it was a green rotom phone and five pokeballs. She handed me the phone which came to life floating in front of me, scanning my face 'scan complete welcome pokemon trainer Victoria' I smiled at the phone and the pokeballs placing them in my bag with the luxary ball.

"WAIT!" I looked at Sonia and noticed she saw the luxary ball in my bags side pocket, "you have a luxary ball?" she asked coming closer to me, I stepped back slightly from her and nodded my head, then explained to her about what pokemon is inside, she was very interested to say the least.

"I guess you have to show me Rayquaza another time Tori, I've got to get this research done for the chairman as soon as possible, we'll will chat later ok" she said before giving me a card like Raihan's and walked over to a desk's on the far side of the room.
