Kairi said, "Try to make him talk."
You looked at Mattia and he was still looking at you.
"Do you remember me?" You said in a low, calming voice.
Mattia didn't move. He just stared.
Tears started forming in your eyes.
You looked out of the window and Alejandro said, "Look! He's moving!"
You looked at him and saw him starting to nod.
Alejandro said, "Do you remember me?"
Mattia nodded his head.
Kairi asked, "Why aren't you speaking?"
He didn't move.
You said , "Maybe he had a concussion or stroke from the beatings.."
Alejandro said, "Maybe you're right.."
You nodded and looked at Mattia.
You grabbed hold of his hand and began to hold it.
5 minutes later you felt him hold yours back.
Alejandro parked the car in the abandoned place y'all made the plan in.
Everyone got up and Alejandro walked Mattia in.
He sat Mattia down and 2 girls with tablets came and started examining him.
Cynthia bursted in and said, "Where is he?"
You rolled your eyes.
Alejandro saw and walked to you, put his left hand on your shoulder and whispered in your ear, "She'll be gone soon, don't let her get to you."
You nodded.
Alejandro walked away and another man walked towards you.
He was handsome, he smelled like 2 squirts of expensive cologne.
He had the perfect curls, you could see his abs through his shirt.
"Who are you?" He said.
You looked at him and looked back.
"Feisty one, I see." He said.
"Y/N." You said.
He said, "Pretty. I'm Julian."
You went to say something but one of the women who took Mattia to the back room said, "He had a concussion, it messed with the way he talks and how he processes words."
Julian said, "Will he be okay?"
She nodded. "It will take him months, maybe a year to get back to his normal ways."
You started to tear up at what they were telling you.
Julian walked over and gave you a tight hug.
His hand caressed your back.
"He'll be okay." Julian reassured you.
You nodded.
The lady walked back to the room.
Julian said, "Wanna get some fresh air?"
You said, "Sure." While wiping your tears.
Julian grabbed your hand and walked you out the backdoor.
The sky was beautiful. The sunset made it even better.
"It's beautiful out here." You said.
Julian nodded.
You looked at him, "I've never seen you around here."
Julian said, "I've never seen you either, and as beautiful as you are I would've immediately spotted you."
You giggles and looked down.
Julian said, "Wanna get outta here? It's kind of depressing."
You shook your head, "I wanna know everything I can about Mattia getting better."
Julian nodded. "I get it."
"I'm gonna go back in." You replied.
"Nice meeting you." He smiled.
"Nice meeting you too." You said as you walked back in.
