Tommy woke up, sweat dripping down his face. He turned his eyes toward his phone, lit up with a notification.
"Tubbo." He whispered.
He directed his gaze to the time at the top of his phone. 4:26. It was way too early to wake up. None of his family would be awake, and not for a while either. He had finished streaming early last night, so he could wake up easily for school.
However, it was not like he had had the perfect night of sleep. He had been awake for at least half the night, tossing and turning, somewhat sinking in his deep pool of thoughts. In his head he had been stressing, for mostly unknown reasons, but one single thought stuck out vividly in his head. He saw a dark room, with a single lamp in the corner, with... people. A circle of people where sitting around him, none of them moving, but all eyes directed at him.
Tommy pulled at the curtains next to his bed, almost as though sweeping the "dream" out of his head. He could see the sun peeking through the oak trees near his window. It was still too early to start his day, so he decided to log onto minecraft mostly as to take his mind off of the thought. He roamed around the skyblock islands for a while, beginning to get bored as the sun started to illuminate his room. Before logging off his computer to begin getting ready for school, he glanced at his friends list. One name in particular stood out to him.
"Technoblade."
Tommy only knew Techno from school. He was in the year above Tommy, and had recently told people he had a youtube channel, which he had been respected for. Tom had never noticed Techno on skyblock before, as he mostly played Skywars and Bedwars.
Tommy, getting distracted, grabbed his phone and stood up. He looked down and checked the time.
"8:13"
"F*ck."
