The militia had been terrorizing the city since the quarantine began. The virus that made its stake into our world caused enough panic for civilians to be forced inside their homes and close their shops.
The virus mutated into making the dead come back to life, so the militia was introduced into every major city as a safety precaution, but they have only been pains in everyone's side. We were all nice people here until the threats against us were made. We, the people, have our guns and are able to defend ourselves against anything that comes our way, even the dead.
