ROBB STARK WATCHED THE WAVES CRASH AGAINST THE BOTTOM OF THE CLIFF.

The salt from the sea mingled with the air sent by the gods, offering a calm embrace where he could forget the war he had thrown himself in. He longed to be home, away from everything and everyone. He longed to be with his brothers and sisters, he prayed that things could be like they were before.

Peaceful.

Robb prayed to the old gods and sometimes, without his mother knowing, he prayed to the new ones as well. He prayed to anyone that would listen, though, not for himself. He never prayed for himself, and lately he hasn't prayed for the men that followed him into battle either. Instead he's prayed for his brothers and sisters to be safe, sometimes settling for them to be alive. He prayed for his Maester back home, he prayed for Marina.

"Your Grace."

Robb turned quickly, so quickly, in fact, that he nearly twisted his ankle. For Lady Talisa Maegyr it is worth it, who had stood quietly with her arms folded across her stomach. Her dark brown hair is pulled into a low ponytail allowing her unique facial structures to shine through. Her high cheekbones and soft cleft chin made her look to have fairy like features, framed with thin wisps of her hair.

"Your Grace? Are you well?" Lady Maegyr asked, moving a little closer to get a better look. "You look a bit pale"

"I'm fine, Lady Maegyr." I was just caught staring is all. Robb cleared his throat. "Are you ready to depart?"

Talisa nodded, smiling softly to herself as the man in front her turned to lead the walk. Though he wasn't able to turn away fast enough. Talisa had seen the redness of his cheeks before he could duck away. When she managed to get to his side without tripping over her dress, she squeezed her palms together in front of her to stop the nervous butterflies from scrambling around in her stomach. Similarly, Robb clutched the edge of his cloak

"What were you thinking about, your Grace? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

"I was thinking about Winterfell," Robb replies with a sigh, "I was thinking about Marina and my brothers."

Talisa frowned, but it was gone before the Stark could see it. Instead, she plastered a small smile on her lips. "Marina? I've never heard you speak of another woman besides your mother and your sisters. Is she another lady of Winterfell?" Perhaps your lady?

Robb laughs to himself. "Marina isn't a highborn. If she had heard you say that she would have strangled you."

"She sounds lovely" Talisa says, her voice stripped of interest but laced with sarcasm.

The two shared a glance before they burst into laughter. Once they settled Robb started again. "Marina has been with me for as long as I can remember. She raised me and my siblings."
