No Perspective
Today was the day, Nekoma v Fukoridani.
Kuroo was so excited that he'd finally see Bokuto again. But anxious becasue he was scared that he might get distracted. But he put all that aside and got ready to go. His school was too long from their's so on the bus ride there, he could barely stay in his seet. Kenma picked up on this,
"What are you doing?" Kenma said without looking up from his game.
"Whatever do you mean?"
Kenma looked up from his console with an annoyed look on his face.
"You haven't sat still since we got on the bus, and usually you'd be lecturing me on eating healthy. You seem way more excited about this match than usual".
Kuroo's face blushed.
"Well, this game is more important. This is our first match against this team, I want to make a good impression".
"This is that guy's team you haven't stopped talking about isnt it?"
Kuroo looked away trying to hide is tomato red face. Kenma knew he was right and kept playing his game.
Once they got to the school, kuroo said his speach and they got to warming up. He found it odd that the other team wasnr already in the gym, but before he could finsh his thought, the gym doors burst open. Out walking fukoridani's team, being led by Bokuto with his arms raised in the air. Kuroo chuckled to himself. Bokuto then pointed at Kuroo
"You must be the captain of this team" bokuto said with a kingly voice.
Kuroo approached the owl and said
"Why yes I am", trying to match his voice.
"Why you know, appearance means a lot, and it looks like you just got out of bed".
Akaashi walked up behind him,
"Bokuto, you dont have to do this to every teams captain".
Kuroo then answered,
"No, no. It's quite alright. I have more important things to do they squabble with an owl, I'll be going back to my duties now".
Bokuto gasped loudly, putting his hand on his chest make Kuroo smile.
They then went back to warming up.
*Time Skip*
It was the second match, fukoridani won the first, Kuroo was too busy trying to impress Bokuto that he was messing up bad. Kenma pulled him aside,
"Could you stop looking at his biceps and play the game please?"
Kuroo nodded.
Bokuto was getting ready to spike, he hit the ball and then..
It was blocked by Kuroo.
Bokuto was upset, he was also trying to impress the other team, more importantly Kuroo and that triggered the infamous emo mode.
Kuroo was celebrating when he looked other to see Bokuto looking down at the ground, with his arms hanging loose. He looked over at Akaashi and pointed at him. Akaashi put up three fingers, slowly putting them down. When he got to his last finger, Bokuto looked up and screamed,
"AKAASHI, DO NOT SET TO ME ANYMORE!"
Akaashi sighed and just said "okay". Bokuto then looked over at him with a blank face.
Kuroo was on the other side of the net, just as confused as the rest of his team. But the game had to go on. Kuroo's team has serving, the ball went over and was heading directly towards Bokuto, but another player stepped infront of him. Kuroo was wondering what was wrong, but continued to play as normal.
The game went on, fukoridani was doing fine, just not as well without Bokuto.
The game was on point match. When Akaashi set the ball to Bokuto, Kuroo kind of excepted it to hit the ground, but Bokuto started running towards it. Kuroo jumped to block it, but was distracted. His handsome, sweat dripping determined face caught him off guard, he just jumped, staring at Bokuto, but reality quickly set in. Bokuto hit the ball across the court, too fast for the players to recieve. It hit the ground so hard it bounced off the ground and hit the wall behind them. Nekoma stood there, looking behind them when the buzzer rang. Fukoridani had won.
Kuroo shot his head back when he heard Bokuto scream
"HEY, HEY, HEY!"
Team all grathering around him clapping and give each other high fives.
The captains then walked up to each other.
"Thank you for having us, Owl Eyes", Kuroo said stretching his hand out form him to shake. Bokuto firmly grasped his hand shaking it and answered,
"It was our pleasure Bed Hed".
They stood there for a second, then bursted out laughing. Bokuto then grabbed Kuroo hugging him, Kuroo then looked away blushing again. Bokuto let go and said,
"Good game though, it was fun".
Kuroo still looking away blushing said,
"Yeah", then swung hus head around,
"But we'll win the next round".
"Oh, is that a challenge!, he said returning to his king voice.
Kuroo laughed, when kenma walked over saying,
"The bus will be leaving soon".
Bokuto waved smiling at kenma. In return, kenma gave him a weak smile.
Kuroo then startimg walking away
"Til next time".
"I'll see you then".
