They drive to the hospital and drink there coffees. Derek gave in and ate the donut Stiles got with his money. He couldn't lie it was amazing and he loved spending time with Stiles so it was a win win situation. They walked in and Stiles immediately walked to Melissa. "Hey Any updates Melissa." Stiles said concerned. She shook her head and said "no sorry Stiles I'll let you know if there's any change you can still see him if you want." She felt really bad for Stiles. Stiles nodded and started to walk to his room then Derek said "Stiles I'll be there in a minute I wanna talk to Melissa here for a minute." He says as he looks at her. Stiles nods and walks to his dads room. Melissa looks at Derek nervously and says "hey Derek" she says in a shaky voice. Derek doesn't think about his words all he says is "why did you tell Scott he told his friends now they know and it's your fault." Melissa refuses to make eye contact and says "sorry Derek" Derek rolls his eyes and walks to Stiles. He walks in and sees Stiles holding his dads hand and crying. Derek walks over and goes to touch Stiles shoulder but Stiles stops him by hugging him. Derek smiles and says "it's okay Stiles" as he hugs Stiles back. Stiles cry's softly into Derek's chest. Derek doesn't really know what to do so he keeps hugging Stiles. Melissa walks in and is surprised to see the two hugging. Melissa then says "is he okay" and gesturing towards Stiles.
Derek looks at her and says "I don't think so."
He frowns but keeps hugging Stiles. Stiles lets go and says "can we leave now." Derek nods and says "do you want me to drive." Stiles nods and gives Derek the keys. Derek is surprised Stiles said yes Because the only person to drive the Jeep others then Stiles is Scott and that was only once. They walked out and Derek drove them to Scott's house. Scott is home and walks outside and says "you let Derek drive?" Derek walks past him with Stiles following not far behind him. "Not the time" Derek says as he walks in the house with Stiles. Scott looks confused but gets in Allison's car a little bit after she pulls up. Derek brings Stiles up the stairs and to his bed. Derek puts the keys on a table and sits on a chair close to Stiles bed. "Stiles you okay" Derek said concerned. Stiles just said "I'll be fine." Stiles then grabbed Derek's arm and pulled him on the bed. Derek took of his leather jacket and threw it on the floor. He laid next to Stiles. Stiles wrapped his arms tightly around Derek's torso. Derek then put his arms around Stiles. "Your okay" Derek whispers as he hold Stiles tightly. They lay there till 7:00pm. Then Stiles says "remember I said were doing something I gotta ask Scott a question then we can go." Derek smiles and nods. Stiles pulls out his phone and text Scott.

Stiles- hey Scott do you have some extra fluffy blankets anywhere
Scott- um probably why?
Stiles- not important just tell me where the damn blankets are I need 2 of them
Scott- fine there's probably some in the closet in the hallway
Stiles-okay thx I got them
Scott- also you okay when I left you didn't look okay you even let Derek drive the Jeep
Stiles- I'm fine now so I'm gotta go see ya later tonight 👋😁

Stiles grabbed the blankets and put them in the back of his car with Derek not far behind him. "Ready to go" Stiles says with a smile. Derek nods and gets in the passenger seat. Stiles gets in the car and they drive. They drive for about 10 minutes and Derek says "so where we going." Stiles smiles and says "you'll see." Derek just laughed. Stiles pulled into a place with nature trails. He parks and pulls the keys out. He gets out and grabs the blankets he struggled a bit until Derek helped by taking one. They walked a bit down the trail and Stiles had a flash light. Stiles stopped and put his blanket on the cool grass. Derek looked confused. "Lay on the blanket Derek" stiles says while smiling. Derek does as told and Stiles lays next to him. Stiles takes the blanket Derek was holding and covers them not with it. They lay super close together and Stiles says "look up at the stars this is the best place to see them in Beacon hills my mom showed me when I was younger before she got sick."
Derek looked up and the stars were absolutely beautiful. They were so clear the whole sky was lit up. Derek loved this he knew he would remember this forever. Derek and Stiles laid there for a while completely silent. Until Stiles said "you are amazing Derek Hale and the best Alpha ever." Derek rolled so he was facing Stiles. "what makes you think that" Derek said very confused. Stiles laughed and said "what I mean is that most Alphas are hard on there pack and don't show sympathy like you do. If a beta steps out of line they would harm them but you just deal with it normally. Your so kind towards me as well. You by me coffee and pizza. Watch movies with me and most importantly hug me when I need it most. Like I said best Alpha ever." Derek was shocked he never knew how highly Stiles thought of him. "Thanks Stiles your amazing to." He said as he moved so he was touching Stiles. Stiles smiled and said "I know." Derek and Stiles both laughed and continued to look at the stars. A cold gust of wind came and it made Stiles very cold so he cuddled against Derek's body. Derek put more blanket around Stiles and hugged him tightly. Stiles fell asleep in Derek's arms again. When Derek noticed he kissed Stiles forehead. He laid there till he himself fell asleep. Derek was incredibly happy he was asleep with Stiles in his arms under the most beautiful stars. They slept there together all night. It was 10:30am and Stiles was the first on awake. He was still in Derek's arms just as he was when fell asleep. Stiles didn't move he doesn't wanna wake up Derek plus he's happy where is. About 30 minutes later Derek is awake. He looks down and sees Stiles still in his arms. "Morning sleepy head" Stiles says with a smile. Derek smiles and says "good morning Stiles" In a sleepy voice. Stiles laughed and looked into Derek's beautiful eyes. Derek looked back and he wanted to practically melt but then his phone rang. He reached his phone that was Next to him and answered.
"Derek where are you." Scott yelled.
"Calm down I'm at my house" Derek said annoyed. Scott scoffs and says "stop lying i was just there and you weren't there" Derek rolled his eyes and said "okay fine I'm not home but why does it matter where I am" Scott was very annoyed and yelled "your crazy uncle knocked at my door looking for you." "Wait you saw Peter" Derek yelled. "Yes now where ever you are come deal with your crazy family." Scott said before hanging up. Derek looked at Stiles who was looking up at him and said "we gotta go I guess Peter is looking for me." Stiles looked scared "Peter as in the crazy alpha who bit Scott and tryed to kill me in the hospital and slit Kate argents throat? That Peter?"
Derek nodded and said "wait a second are you scared of Peter." Stiles nodded and hugs Derek tighter. Derek smiles and says "I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you." Stiles nods and let's go of Derek so he can stand. "Want me to drive your car" Derek nods and smiles. They put the blankets in the car and Derek puts his jacket back on. Derek hugs Stiles tightly and says "when I get my car I'm gonna go home to see if Peter will show up I'm sorry maybe we can hangout later." Stiles nods and smiles. Derek lets go and they get in the car. It's silent again for another car ride. They get to Scott's house and Derek waves goodbye through his car window as he drives away. Derek parks and he gets out. He starts to walk toward the Hale House when he sees Peter. "What do you want Peter" Derek says before rolling his eyes. "Wow calm down there I just want to tell you I'm back in town." Peter says with a glare. "You knocked on Scott's door looking for me just to tell me that." Derek yells. Peter smiles deviously and says "yea sorry but I thought you should know I'm home from vacation." Derek rolls his eyes and says "okay now I know now leave me alone." Peter keeps smiling and said "Scott told me you were probably with Stiles that's why you weren't home is that true." Derek shook his head and said "no I slept in a hotel last night because I didn't wanna sleep in the ashes of this house for once." Peter rolled his eyes and left. Peter then got himself a phone. He used Derek's phone to get his packs phone numbers. Mainly so could text Scott. So he then started texting Scott.

Peter- not important but what is important is why did you think Derek was with Stiles last night and this morning
Scott- I cant tell you sorry Derek would kill me and enjoy being alive so no
Peter- oh come on Scott I'm your real Alpha not Derek and you'll heal if he does anything
Scott- fine Derek and Stiles have gotten super close like super close my mom told me she found them sleeping in the Same bed and Lydia took this picture.
