Broken

A sleep less night

Stiles got out Derek's car and walked to a place in the grass. He sat there and was silent. Derek frowned and took of his shirt and said "I'll be back I'm gonna go for a quick run." Stiles nodded. He couldn't help but look up and down at Derek's incredible figure. Then Derek left. Stiles laid in the grass curled so his knees were against his chest. Derek returned pretty quickly. "You okay Stiles" Derek said concerned. Stiles nodded but was still silent. About 5 minutes later Scott appeared with Jackson and Lydia. "Hey how are you doing." Scott says as he walks over to Stiles. Stiles stays silent he doesn't want to talk. Scott frowns and looks at Derek. "Don't look at me like that Scott." Derek says with a glare. Everyone does there training while Stiles Lays in the grass. Derek gives Jackson and Scott some directions then goes to drink some water. Stiles follows and stands next to Derek. "What's up Stiles?" Derek says out of breath because he's been training. Stiles looked at Derek kind of scared. He was a little scared of Derek still. Derek yelled a lot because he was the alpha and he could. Stiles finally said "will you drive me to the hospital I want to see my dad." Stiles looked up agin to see Derek smile. "Sure Stiles give me a minute." Derek said with a small smile. Stiles nodded and let out a small smile. Derek walked over to everyone else and told them to keep training while he's gone. They got in Dereks car and drove off. The car ride was silent till Derek broke the silence by saying "Stiles do you want me to stay with you." Stiles stayed quiet. Derek turned his attention from the road for a minute to lock eyes with Stiles. Stiles stared back then finally spoke. "What about the packs training?" Stiles said in a low and shaky voice. Derek turns his attention back to the road and says "they will be fine they have  directions." Stiles nods and says "okay then yes will you come with." Derek smiles and nods. Derek finds a parking place and gets out. Stiles follows him and they walk in together. Stiles walks to the desk and sees Melissa. She walks closer to the counter and says "hey stiles here to see your dad." Stiles nods as he walks closer towards her. She smiles and says "okay are you here with anyone." Derek walks over to Stiles and smiles. Melissa lets out a small smiles then has them follow her to Stiles dads room. Melissa looks at Stiles once they walk in and says "we don't have any updates Stiles I'm sorry take as long as you need." She smiles at Derek then leaves. Stiles walks toward his dad and holds his hand. "I'm here dad don't worry." Stiles says through tears. Stiles stands there a few minutes and talks while he sobs. Derek walks over to Stiles and touches his shoulder. "You will be okay Stiles." Derek says sympathetically. Stiles continues to sob then Derek says "Stiles the pack is done training they wanna know if your comfortable having them here." Stiles shakes his head in despair and says "just you please." This makes more tears fall. Derek nods and text them. They are there for another hour. Melissa walks in and says "Stiles how about you go back to the house Scott ordered pizza you gotta be tired." Stiles nodded and she left the room. Stiles says his goodbyes then walks to Derek. "You okay" Derek says concerned. Stiles doesn't respond but he hugs Derek tightly. The only people he ever hugged this tight were his dad and his mom. Derek hugs him back as he feels Stiles tears fill the chest of his shirt. They stay there for a bit till Derek says "are you ready to go back." Stiles nods and let's go of Derek. Derek walks him to the car and they get in. Derek drives to Scott's house. The ride is quiet besides the muffled sounds of Stiles crying into his hoodie. Derek pulls into the driveway and says "were here." Stiles looks at Derek with red puffy eyes from crying. "Can you come in" Stiles says still hysterical. Derek smiles and says "let me ask Scott." Derek text Scott.

Derek- Hey Scott I brought Stiles home he wants me to come inside is that okay?
Scott- Yea that's fine but about to leave I'm going to a restaurant with Allison so you will be alone.
Derek- okay that's fine
Scott-😎👍🏻

Derek smiles and says "okay let's go Scott said I can but he's leaving so we will be alone." Stiles nodded and slowly got out of the car. Derek got out and pressed the button to lock the door. They walked in to see Scott doing his hair. He smiles but continues focusing on his hair. Stiles walks up the stairs and Derek follows. They go into Scott's room. Stiles puts his phone on a table and lays on the ground. Scott walks in and says "Stiles my mom got you a bed." He points to a small bed. Then he leaves after waving goodbye. Stiles goes over to the bed and lays down. Derek sits next to Stiles and says "do you wanna watch some tv or are you going to sleep." Stiles has finally stopped crying then says " tv I'm not tired yet." Derek nods and turns on a Marvel movie. Derek lays down fully on Stiles bed. Stiles lays next to Derek leaving only a small space between them. Stiles grabs a blanket and puts it over them. They lay there peaceful. Then at midnight Derek falls asleep. Stiles is still wide awake he lays there quietly Because he doesn't wanna wake Derek. An hour later Stiles hears the door handle move. He pretends he asleep so know one ask him if he's okay. Melissa walks in and sees Stiles has his head to inches away from Derek's chest. She smiles a bit then walks over to Derek. She wakes him up quietly. Derek looks up to see her. Then looks to see Stiles asleep very close to him. He quietly gets up and grabs his phone and heads out the door with Melissa behind him. They walk into the kitchen and Melissa says "didn't expect to see you here so late Derek." He smiles and says "sorry I'll go now." She smiles back and says "okay are you coming over to watch over him tomorrow again." Derek nods then says " If you didn't tell Scott about this it would be great he's gonna be annoying about it." She smiled and nodded. Derek smiles and waves goodbye before walking out the door. When he leaves she smiles then looks a little confused. She walks over to the coffee maker and makes her self a cup of black coffee. At about 3:00am Scott walks in. He sees his mom and is uncomfortable. "Um hey mom what you doin awake." Scott says nervously. She gives him a glare and says "I worked late and I'm on call tonight. Why so long with Allison." He smiles and says "we had a lot plans." She rolls her eyes  and says "whatever I got a question what's up with Stiles and Derek." Scott looked confused. "What do you mean." She smiles and says "well Derek took Stiles to the hospital today not you oh and I just found Derek and stiles laying together asleep 2 inches apart." Scott's eyes widened he was shocked. She looks at Scott and says "hey don't tell anyone Derek told me to tell no one. When you got to sleep don't wake up Stiles either" Scott nodded and hugged his mom before going to sleep. He laid down and fell asleep immediately. Stiles however had a million things going through his head. Like his dad and what the future will hold. Also the fact that Derek just fell asleep in his bed. Stiles was very attracted to Derek he has never felt like this about anyone. He was truly in love with Derek but he could never know. Stiles stayed up till 6.00am when he heard Scott get up. He pretend to sleep so Scott won't know. Scott then left for school. Stiles was still awake. He stayed awake until 10:00am them his body finally gave out and he fell asleep.
