Sam went up to the front desk of a hotel they had just ran into with the fake debit cards Bobby had created for them. They ordered a room, room 12 in fact. Once they walked into the room as Sam went straight ahead to do some research as Dean went through the yellow pages to find a nearby burger place.

"Hey!" Sam called out to Dean in a stern voice. "Mind helping me?"

"Actually, yes I do mind." Dean said as he set the yellow pages onto the lampstand next to his bed. "I don't do research. If I liked to do research, I would've passed school."

"Alright," Sam sighed as he continued looking up information. "At least help me think some things out."

"My ears are wide open." Dean reclined onto the bed.

"Okay, so this thing is attacking almost everyone in the town, right?" Sam began to type rapidly into the search engine.

“It also leaves a round bite mark on their nerves that seem to drain their memories.” Dean adds.

“Question is does it feed off their memories or does it just take them. If it does just take them then what is its purpose?” Sam scrolled down different pages on a browser. “And I am guessing that it takes the form of a cat, since that cat bit Cas and it left the same mark on his hand.”

“Vampire Kitty that attacks ones nerves.” Dean chuckled as Sam shot him a look. “What? Let me have my own imagination.” He said as sat up.

Sam continued searching for a monster that fits the description. “Huh.” Sam bit his lip as he began to think.

“What? Did we get it?” Dean said.

“No, but I think I kind of have an idea of what it is based on this website.” Sam turned his laptop so Dean could take a look at it. Dean stood up from his bed and walked up to the laptop to see the screen. He leaned towards the screen and skimmed the page and shot a look at Sam.

“Do you really think that this could be it?” Dean stood up straight and crossed his arms.

“Well, what else fits the description?” Sam smiled “Unless you want to do the research yourself.”

Hearing this Dean rolled his eyes and responded, “Fine. Let’s call the others to tell them what we found out.”

“What I found out.” Sam corrected Dean.

“Okay.” He said as he pulled out the card from the animal hospital and walked to the phone.

Cas had found the cat that had bit him, it was on a fence with its eyes were glowing and focused on him. Cas slowly walked up to the cat, trying not to make too much noise.

“If only there were sigils to trap cats.” Cas said as he jumped to grab the cat by its neck. He had caught it successfully. He held it by its scruff so it wouldn’t bite him or scratch him. It hissed and jerked around, but Cas held it tightly. It began to give up trying to escape and just hung there. Cas then set his hand under its hind legs, giving it support and held it in his arms. The cat just stared at him with its eyes wide. “It is okay kitty, you’ll be okay.” Cas said as he disappeared from the fence to the animal hospital.
