Reyn watched the way she insisted on cleaning up her own mess. The more he learned about this girl the more questions he had. He crossed his arms diving deep into his own mind as he thought on her words. He just couldn't come to terms that this girl was destined to be his enemy. She had a choice no matter what she thought. No matter how broken she believed herself to be. Reyn could not begin to explain the way his body had relaxed as she rested her head upon his shoulder the night prior.  It hed felt like as she rested there that she had lifted some unexplainable weight from his shoulders. It had compelled him to continue to read until her breath had completely evened out. When he lifted her into his arms and laid her on the bed he pulled the furs over her small frail frame and looked into her face once again. It was so soft in sleep, that he had been able see the merging of her two halves this close. The bridge of her nose had been reshaped, he was able to see the incisions. They were invisible to the naked eyes of humans, but his eyes never missed anything. He hadn't even been able to stop himself from running one clawed finger over the soft point of her ear. It had made him wonder if surgery had changed this too or if they had changed her at a molecular level. Thankfully before he did something else stupid her set the book beside her on the bed and retreated to the lived in room. It hadn't even mattered though, the little monster in the next room plagued him even in his dreams.

Once she was finished with her mess he took her hand gently and led her down the hall. She started to protest but he squeezed her palm. "Just stay silent and follow me. If I have proven anything it is that you can trust me." He led her away from his apartments and back towards his father's house. He took her up a few flights of stone steps and down a long hallway to a set of double doors which shoved them open with his broad shoulder. It creaked open to a balcony overlooking the rest of the mountain. People rushed around, there was a whole market place set up in the small village. It too was carved into the stone like his father's estate and his own apartments. All the scents and noise met them all at once. It was a lot to take in and he was sure it would be a little overwhelming to the girl who probably believed they were alone here.

"This is one of the smallest villages in my country. It is made up of the workers for my father's estate and their families. These are just the people of my country... mountain people it translates to in your language." The Market was bursting with people. The carved market was ringed by even more carved houses that jutted out the stone of the mountain. "Now imagine how many Adovi that is. There are so many other countries outside of my people. Your dome seems small in comparison does it not?" He turned his blue green eyes back to the woman as she stared at it all wide eyes. "You will not be the downfall of my people. Humans do not know our strength."

"We could do it." She said after a moment of silence and what he hoped was introspection. She shook her head looking back to the small market of people, no one noticed their young master staring at them from the balcony nor the human who looked on in awe, "we could destroy them. They sent me here as a weapon to destroy you, but instead I will be a weapon to destroy them." Nova closed her eyes and seemed to just digest all that was bustling around them. Her skin glistened in the sun and it made him wonder when the last time was that she was able to feel its rays and warmth. Then she spoke again startling him from his own thoughts. "It has just occurred to me that I do not know your name. I understand if you don't wish to give it as I can't say that I'm not your enemy, but only that we share a common enemy."

His blue green eyes took in the busy village below as he spoke again. "Names have power, especially for a superior like me." He ran a clawed finger over the stone of the balcony "Lower Adovi tend to call me by my second name Atlas as I do not carry my family name. As a sign of faith.. In you and what seems to be a new alliance. I will let you call me by my true name. Reyn."

His ears twitched and his eyes strayed to the still open door. "My father is home, which means he has made his decision... But I have also made mine and no matter what he says I will count you an ally. As such I have every intention to teach you our ways, so that you may have your revenge." He motioned for her to go through the door first. "He will be waiting for us in his office. It's safe there for us to talk freely."
