Rebirth

Chapter One

A woman trudged hurriedly through the snow as she walked down an unknown path in the land of snow. She struggled to see as the blizzard worsened around her. Finally she collapsed to her knees.

"This'll have to do. ." She whispered

She began to dig in the snow until she met the earth. From there she grabbed a kunai from her bag before she stabbed it into the terrain and created a small x mark. A yell reached her ears

"I found her trail!"

She stilled "I need to hurry. ." She grabbed the kunai once more before she slit her palm open and placed it on the x mark. The cut was deep as blood began to pool beneath her hand. With her other hand she pinned her cut hand to the ground with the kunai. With her free hand she began to go through some hand seals. "I see her!" A soldier yelled from behind her. She turned her head slightly to see the soldier, she grunted as she felt her chakra depleting at a rapid rate, and the icy blue color fading from her eyes.

"Don't let her finish that jutsu! If she reincarnates it's over!" Ice suddenly began to grow and spread across her skin rapidly. "It's finished," she whispered thinking of the twenty six years she'd spent on this earth as she took her last breath The blizzard suddenly worsened and the earth began to shake. The soldiers froze in their tracks. The women's frozen body shattered before the surrounding area was consumed in a large explosion of chakra, taking out anything and everything in a fifty mile radius. The blizzard cleared and a large crater was left in the midst of the explosion, at the very middle of the crater lay a newborn child.

A man wandered throughout the ice covered forest, a side effect from the explosion. He had been strictly instructed to do so after the explosions shockwave cleared. He was to find the reincarnated child and take care of him or her.

The reincarnation of his wife.

In the distance he could hear crying. He quickened his pace before he reached the middle of the crater.
His eyes widened when they landed on a newborn child wrapped in thin cloth. "Oh dear. ." He picked up the child It was a young girl. The cycle chose a girl once more, that'd be interesting. From what he's learned from his wife it's rare, very rare. He cradled the child in his arms.

"I'll take care of you young one. Don't worry, for Fuyashi . ."
