AN: So.. I just noticed we reached the 100 view mark... And I just have to say-
WOW.
Never would I have thought that 'Artificial Life' would have reached that number! Much less with just 3 chapters in! To be honest, I thought that by the end of this, it would only have, at the most, 80 views. So yes, I just want to thank you all very, VERY much for staying with me.
Now that the part I wanted to cover is over, here are the basic speech guides since all of the different speeches will be used more frequently:
"Artificial Life" - Human Language
"Artificial Life" - SongBird Speak
"Artificial Life" - Cyber Tongue
'Artificial Life' - Thoughts (will be italicised for both Human and Bird; added bold for the Synthetic Singers)- - - - -
Thomas sighed in exasperation, begrudgingly tightening the scarlet silk tie around his neck. Once he felt the uncomfortable tightness hugging his throat, he tucked the long end behind his black blazer and over his white dress shirt.
'There. I got the stupid thing in place,' he thought, turning this way and that in front of the full length mirror located inside the large bathroom. His bright green eyes looked over every detail of the suit; over every crevice and fold, over every button and cuff, before he was finally satisfied with his appearance and turned his back to the reflective glass. With yet another sigh, though this one of defeat, the red head left the room.
It had already been a good month and a half after his first trip to the auction house, and now he was to go back upon Issac's request, or, as Thomas liked to think about it, demand.
For?
Well, appearntly he was ready to buy yet another SongBird of his own, despite his insisted protests that no, he did not want a new pet, thank you very much.
'But does he ever listen to me? Hell no, he doesn't,' quipped a frustrated Thomas in his head, now standing before one of his roof to floor windows within the living room of the not so extravagant penthouse he had just moved into, looking down upon all of the mingling people and automobiles.
"And now," he mumbled out loud to the empty apace around him, "we play the waiting game."

"Are you ready, Lilly?" Called a certain freckled dirty blond from his perch on a white couch. His face spoke of eagerness, contrary to what his relaxed position on the cushions and the easy smile painted across his lips would say.
"Almost!" Was the reply from the red feathered creature; a tad bit muffled, though, due to the sepeartion of rooms.
Issac slowly nodded, yawned, and stretched, groaning in relief when his locked bones popped and the stress seemed to ooze out of them. His feet fell over the polished wooden floor boards from their previous position a top the coffee table as he stood to his full height afterwards.
'Oh, I can't wait to leave!' He thought with a grin stretching his speckled features. 'Thomas shall thank me forever after this~'
