Meanwhile, inside the airports waiting area, Lauren is seated impatiently looking at the time on her watch, blowing out feeling helpless and frustrated.

Back at the VIP section inside the plane, filled with anger at his mother’s reply, he asked, “Mum, why would you do that?” He questioned with a furious expression.

“I can’t stand the sight of her around me.”

“That’s not an excuse to stop her from getting on this plane.” He argued.

“Well, it’s my opinion not yours.” He got up; opening the pocket above his head, taking out his bag.

“Son, what are you doing?” Her gaze is fixed at him as he quickly answered, “I’m going to find her.”

“Don’t be silly. The plane is about to take off.” Patience cautioned him trying to get him not to leave.

“I don’t care. I’m getting off. See you in X city.” Damien started toward the plane’s exit while his mother barked at him in anger.

“Damien, come back here! Damien!”

With Lauren’s recent panic attack on his mind, Damien hurried out of the air plane, while Patience got up following him, but was stopped by one of the flight attendants, telling her to stay back.

And not being able to do anything about it, she watched helplessly as he ran as fast as he could, heading back into the airport.

At the same time…

Lauren stood up, approaching one of the ladies at the counter.

“Excuse me; I was wondering if I can get a refund on this ticket?”

“No. we don’t do refunds, sorry.” The woman behind the counter answered with an apologetic voice.

“Okay, thank you.” Disappointed, Lauren turned walking back to her seat.

Just then her attention was drawn to the announcement being made via the speaker notifying passengers to get ready for boarding.

She heaved, muttering, “You can do this.” as a source of encouragement for herself. At the same time, Damien continued looking for her in the sea of people walking around the crowded hall.

Lauren sighed, sniffled and got up and just as she turned and was about to make her way to the boarding section, Damien showed up in front of her.

Shocked to see him, she called out to him slowly. “Damien?”

She stared at him her expression surprised, as he ran quickly towards her holding her in his embrace for a brief moment breathing out a sigh of relief, thanking God for having found her, and then released his hold on her. Lauren felt relieved seeing him, but was still overwhelmed that she couldn’t help but ask.

“Why are you running like that? Are you alright? What happened?” Lauren trembled bombarding him with questions.

Panting softly, Damien answered. “I couldn’t leave without you. Wait here let me get a ticket, okay.”

“Okay.” She watched him hurry towards the counter to get a ticket.

Shortly after their plane had arrived at the A & E Airport, Lauren and Damien made their way out of through the arrival section and came out of the buildings exit with Damien seeing his car already parked by the curb.

The tinted glass at the back of the car, slowly wound down and Lauren stopped in her tracks seeing Mrs. Coker glare at the both of them, especially her. Damien also stopped in his tracks seeing the look of disdain on his mother’s face that was directed towards Lauren. He then proceeded to take hold of her hand as they approached the vehicle.
