The Secrets Of the Pyramid

Chapter 2

I was furious. I didn't know that seeing my brother dissappear 6 seconds ago would have made me feel such sadness. I thought I'd never see him again.
Janet suggested that we run into the portal as quick as possible when someone read the words, but Lucy insisted that we run in the opposite direction back home.

I felt terrified and out of anger almost slapped her, but since I still had decency, I decided to explain to her the proper way.
After a fifteen minute, useless and unnecessary conversation, we were all ready to go through the portal. I grabbed one of the pages from the door and waited for someone to start reading the words. As the girl finished reading them the portal opened.

I had no second thoughts and made sure my friends didn't have them either. As fast as lightning, we jumped into the portal and found ourselves traveling through a passageway of dimensions.

It was speedy and we finally stopped. We reached our destination. Welcome to Ancient Egypt. We were transported to the home of the ancient mummy's, to the pyramids of gold and to the kings of ancient dancing.

We were a mile off before we reached the pyramid. I was amazed for the first time ever. I was introduced to a real live mummy.. Well not technically introduced but.. Well you get the point.

It looked like mummy's were security, as well as ticket collectors, however they weren't collecting tickets. They were collecting the papers or rather notes that was back at school on the classroom doors. Luckily Lucy brought her school bag, containing a stack of pages as well as a pen.
I was able to copy the words on two identical sheets, for my friends since I had the one I already grabbed back at school. I am smart.

We were permitted to enter the pyramid, where Janet was mesmerized by the gold. Lucy was terrified by the mummy's, and me, well I was eager to find my brother and not just him, but everyone else who was in trouble and needed to be rescued.
