"HEY NORMAN, DON'T YOU THINK IT'S about time we tell Ray and Ro?" Rosemary hears Emma ask Norman as she eavesdrop.

She sat on top of a tree, with one of her speciality with climbing and jumping from tree to tree, and listens to the two. She wants to help them, however, knowing Emma, Norman, and Ray, they would want to protect her. And by protecting, she meant by them not telling her the house's secret.

"I was thinking the same thing. Ray is smart, and he won't panic, I'm sure he would be able to help us out." He tells Emma. "But Ro --"

"I don't think we should tell Ro." Norman states. Emma looked at him in shock. "What? Why not?" She questions him.

"It's to keep her safe. If mama ever finds out that we are trying to escape, mama won't be suspicious of Ro. She'll be safe." Norman says sadly.

"Escape? Safe?" Ray suddenly appeared out of nowhere waving his hand out. "Yo." He said.

Emma and Norman begin explaining to Ray the happenings of what happened. But they had a little argument with either bringing everyone or leaving them behind.

Ray pulled Norman aside, telling him to do something about Emma. Norman was calmly telling Ray about his opinions.

"And what about Ro?! From what I heard, you're planning to escape with her but not to tell her why we're leaving?! You'll get her killed!" Ray exclaimed.

"I'm doing this for her. I'm sure you feel the same way for her the same way I do. We'll tell her once we escape, I'm sure she'll understand. " Norman answers calmly. "And if she gets shipped out before that?"

"Then we'll let her leave before any of that happens."

Rosemary overheard everything, but being the dense girl she is {because author wants her to be}, she didn't understand what 'way' those boys feel for her.

Concluding she heard enough of their plans, she jumps from tree to tree, away from them and away from the wall.

When the three went to the library for research, Rosemary played with the children and helped Isabella with the chores. It was suspicious that the three weren't with Rosemary, since usually they would want to do anything to be with her.

"Rosemary, " Mama starts as she carries one of the babies. "Yes, mama?"

"Why aren't you with the others?" Mama asks with her usual sweet smile. Rosemary pretends to be upset, but instead, she was thinking of an excuse to not blow her cover and to not expose the three.

"I'm not sure, they were just busy all of a sudden.
I - I don't know why, it was just so quick. My birthday is near, but it actually isn't that near. So I'm sure they're not planning a surprise party." Rosemary answers.

'Idiot! You stutter too much! Now you'll expose them. Argh, should've stayed in bed.'

"That's a shame, dear." She strokes her cheek. "Can you watch the children for me? I'll have the five eldest have some chores." Mama says to Rosemary.

'So she doesn't suspect me? No, I can't let my guard down.' Rosemary thought before giving a shy smile. "Of course, mama. Anything for you."

Mama gave a satisfied smile before walking off to call the kids. Rosemary went outside, seeing the children play. "Rosie, where's Emma and the others?" The kids ask her.

Rosemary crouches to their level and gives them a big smile to reassure them. "They're busy. Mama just needs help with some chores around the house, okay? In the meantime, let's play some hide and seek."

The kids run off to the woods while Rosemary counted for sixty seconds. Meanwhile, in the house.

"Does this mean mama is suspicious of us?" Emma asks the two boys who were busy in the dining room. "The five eldest. . . ."

"Wait, if it's the five eldest, and Ro isn't here. . . then, doesn't that mean mama doesn't suspect Ro?" Emma questions. Ray and Norman visibly relaxes by that statement.

"It's a good thing mama doesn't suspect her," Norman says whilst Ray nods. "Eh? Why?"

"Ughh, I. Want. To. Play!!!!!" Don shouted out. "Guys, why us?! Why only us?!" He complained.

It's been three days since they started chores, obviously, something isn't right. "Mama, why are you making them do chores?" Rosemary asks Isabella.

Isabella smiles at her as she rings the bell. "It's their last day of helping out. We need an extra hand anyways."

The children gather only to see a baby and an adult present. "Let me introduce them, this is your new little sister, Carol. And this person next to me is sister Krone."

"I'll be living with you here today, it's a pleasure meeting you!"
