My name is Elsa. I'm eight years old and a princess of Arendelle. I live in the castle with my father and mother, the king and queen of Arendelle. I also live there with my baby sister Anna. She's five. She has short red hair and freckles. I love her. I love to play with her and make her laugh. She has the cutest little laugh.
Anna and I have a routine. We wake up in the morning and have breakfast in the huge dining room with my parents. The table can fit 30 people if it wants to. It seats the four of us just fine.
After breakfast, Anna and I go to the study room with Mr. Mcmarty. He is teaching us all of our studies. He stays with Anna the most because I am teaching myself really through books. Also because Anna can not sit still at all. She has so much energy. And she loves chocolate and that makes her even more energenic.
After Mr. McMarty dismisses us for the day, we are allowed time to play. Anna and I always race to the playroom. It's this huge room that has free reign to do whatever we want. Anna usually asks to play tag, play with our dolls, or to play with snow.
Now, you're probably wondering how it's possible to play with snow when the room is inside. Well, I was born with these powers. I can make snow and ice and other things. I make snow and ice for Anna and me to play with.
I make an ice rink sometimes and make Anna skates. She is a pretty good skater for being only five. Another thing I do for Anna is build a snowman. I build our friend Olaf. He likes warm hugs. Anna loves Olaf.
After we play, we go and spend time with our parents. We usually read or play with hair or they watch us play in the hallways. The hallways of the castle are long. The wooden floors are so shiny that Mr. McMarty jokes he can use it as a mirror.
We had dinner all together in the big dining room. Then it was bed time. Anna and I had the same room. She used to wake me up sometimes in the middle of the night wanting to play. I usually agreed after a little persuasion from Anna.
There was this one day where everything changed. Anna and I were in the hallway with our parents. We were playing with our dolls. Mr. McMarty came in with a boy who was drenched with water like he took a swim in the fjord.
I looked up from playing with Anna. He stared at me. He was tall, with blue eyes. He had dark brown hair, it was long too, almost covering his eyes and it was down to his collar in the back. But he had styled it to where it looked nice. It was wet after all. He had this weird mark on his hand. It was three triangles put into a formation that created a bigger triangle. We stared at each other. We were like that until we heard my mom speak.
I see him look up to see my parents. He stands up straighter. I watch him wondering what my parents will think of this weird boy with the mark on his hand.
