But what if it was all a dream....

Aang held Katara in an embrace as they kissed. He has waited for this for months on end. Over the sunset in Ba-sing-sae, on the balcony, with the love of his life...until.

The light, a strong one, opened Aang's eyes. He woke up stumbling to his feet, Katara laughing. How can someone laugh be so perfect he watched he straighten up after laughing, and he was confused.

"KataRa, what was that?" Aang started in a confused manner.

"Just a little something to remind you of when we meet," Katara said blushing. This memory was dear to both of their hearts. The first time they saw one another. Love at first sight.

"Come on, that scared me," Aang said playfully, "I was dreaming about our kiss in Ba-sing-sae,"

"Oh really, why do you need to think about it if we can reenact it?" Katara said happy to get any excuse to kiss her love.

"Oh reAlly?" Aang said, pulling her and kissing her. Aang loved every part of her from her bright blue eyes, or her long brown hair; everything about her was perfect. Just perfect.

After sometime of passionately making out Katara got up, Aang frowned. "Really? You have to go now?" Aang sighed with his puppy dog eyes hoping to get a few more minutes with his girlfriend.

"Yes I have to go now... Who's going to make lunch? Cause last time I remember Momo doesn't cook too well." Katara smirked.

Aang got up and put on his Air nomad top, and sat down on the balcony. Aang made sure he contacted the spirit world every day to make sure he wasn't closed off. He was terrified, he knew that Avatars before him in love got closed off. He didn't want to risk the world or his world in any way.

As he got out of his meditation like phase he smelt lunch. Aang and Katara had become lazy over the course of time, it had been four years since Aang had defeated the fire lord. Four years since Zuko had taken the throne. Four years since Toph had started a metal bending school. Lastly, four happy calm years.

They were growing up, faster than he thought they would. I mean Sokka got married. Aang flashed back to Sokka's wedding. Aang stood next to him, Sooka trailed his thumb in circles and mumbled his vows before his bride arrived. Sokka and Aang knew he couldn't mess up or his bride to be, an ex kyoshi warrior, I mean you know how it would end. He remembered Katara holding Suki's left hand while Suki's mother held her left. Sokka's jaw dropped the moment he saw Suki, so did Aang's but for another person. Katara was in a green and yellow green, much lesser grand than Suki's but fitted her perfectly. Everyone, the whole gang was together, it was the last time.

"Aang? Honey? We got a message from Zuko," Katara walked in to see Aang sitting. Probably meditation. "Oh I'm sorry I didn;t know." She said as she soon started walking out.

"No, it's ok. I was just thinking," Aang blurted out knowing Katara was almost out of the room. She walked back in and handed him the scroll. Aang smiled and took the scroll in hand and read it to himself.,

"Dear gAang,

Long time no see huh? Well that's going to change, we are meeting up at ember island. And I mean we are meeting up. Proclamation by the Fire Lord." Aang finished reading and smiled at the responses. He laughed out loud.

"What happened is everything alright?" Katara asked if they were to go on another quest. Katara and Aang usually traveled the world together because of Aang's Avatar duties. This was the only reason Sokka had allowed Aang and Katara to be together alone, because the world needed it.

"Nothing dear it's just that, the Firelord has ordered us on vacation to ember island."

"Are we going?" Katara asked.

"Do I love you?"

"Mhh I need to think about that," Katara said grinning. "I'll pack the bags!" She said fianlly.
