I finish doing my last set of sit-ups while listening to one of my favorite songs by my favorite artist, once I finish I get up and turn off my music and leave my gym. I sigh as I walk towards my kitchen for one of my strawberry protein shakes from my fridge, I place my phone on my table as I look out my window and watch my neighbors kids run around together as I eventually get lost in my train of thought. I'm interrupted from my thoughts by my phone ringing, I walk over to it and notice that it's uncle Vince calling me so I answer the phone.
"Hey uncle V what's up?" I answer
"Hey Liz I was just calling to check up on you." He replied
"I'm doing well but I know that that's not the only reason you called today, since you just called yesterday, so tell me what's going on." I say
He chuckles and sighs before replying.
"It's our women's division it's just not doing as well with our audience, I need your help." He says
"That sucks but I don't know how I would be able to help." I say
"Liz you are the most popular to have ever walked the halls of WWE." he states
"I don't know about that, what about Lita or Trish besides I've been gone for a while I doubt anyone remembers me." I say
"Well I can guarantee you that you are not forgotten amongst the fans." He says
I sigh and begin to think about the offer.
"Fine I'll return but just for a month and if I still feel comfortable in the ring then we can talk about a long term contract." I say
"Great I'll have Steph send you an email about your return thanks so much for this Liz you're the best." He says
"I know, bye Uncle V I love you." I say
"Bye Liz I love you too." He says
I hung up and let out a deep sigh.
I guess I'll be returning to the ring after all. Gosh I wonder if anyone still remembers me, it's been years since I've been in that ring. I ponder to myself
Letting out another sigh I drink my protein shake that I had forgotten about. After I finish my shake I head to my bathroom to take a quick shower before I go out with my girls for the night before I get pushed back into the world that is professional wrestling. I hope I'm doing the right thing by returning to the ring. I sigh as I grab my keys off the hook and head to my garage to meet up with some of my best friends at one of our favorite restaurants.I eventually pull into the parking lot and find a parking spot conveniently near the entrance of the restaurant, lucky me. I let out a sigh as I gather my bag and keys and exit my car before locking it and walking towards the restaurant and walking in. I see my friends have already been seated so I walk towards the table and take a seat in one of the seats.
"Hey girls" I greet them as I sit down
"Hey girl" says Liz
"Hello" said Ara
"Hey gorgeous" said Elu
"Have you guys ordered yet?" I asked them
"Yeah and I went ahead and ordered for you" said Elu while handing me a cup of water
"Thanks girl you know exactly what I like" I say
"Well after 12 years of friendship I would hope so" She says
