8th grade...

"So, word is, you can turn leaves into money" Some dude said to a boy. That was a brown bear. "Y-yeah, but it doesn't last long." He said. "Well, guess we'll just have to spend it quickly." The other guy said. "So, what's up!" Kiri said. The boys looked at him. "Who's that?" One asked. "I think that kid from class B." The other responded. "I've got this." He threw a big rock at him and he fell down. "Now, about that money." Kiri got back up. "Hey! Don't walk away!" 

"You gotta start a fight all the time?" I asked. "You saw that?" He asked. "Remind me how a rock beats a rock." We looked at the boys. Then Ashido came and started yelling at them. "Ashido?" He said. 

She was yelling.

Then she was laughing.

Then she was brake dancing-wait what?

"Are they brake dancing?" I asked. "Now they're leavening! And no one got hurt!" Kiri said. I put my hands behind my head and started walking. "You know it's crazy, ten more months and we'll be in high school." I said. He put his hands in his pockets. "You don't seem that happy." So much as happen over these three years. Kiri isn't shy anymore, Ashido broke up with Reo last year (that was funny), she's also real popular. With the League Vilains, We got new recruotes, Twice and Spiner. I met Kriogir, the wrap gate. And Shigiy and Dabi still hate each other, witch is normal. 

"Hey, you're turning 15 this year. So, will you finally tell us when your birthday is?" I was turning 15 this year. But I didn't know what a birthday was. "Will you finally tell me what a birthday is?" He looked te other way. He looked a little sad I guess. "So, you know what high school you're gonna go to?" He asked. I still had that deal with principal. But I didn't know really. "No, you?" 

"I wanna go to U-uh-I mean, I'm not really sure yet." He wasn't shy anymore, but that doesn't mean he didn't still hate his quirk. If I really think about it, the only way I know his quirk, is because Mina told me. "Just do what you want."

Kirishma's POV:

I was walking home when I saw two girls from my school and some big looking thing. I turned there way, but, my feet stopped. Why am I not moving? "Where is the hero industry?" They just stood there. He raised his branch thingy. Then Ashido ran in front of him. She held his branch. Then Tris jumped on him and  flipped over. Which was really surprising because he's so big. He got up and she looked up at him like he wasn't 10 feet. "The hero industry is two blocks down. Take two rights and one left." He walked away. She feel on her knees and started heavy breathing. "Are you okay?" Ashido asked. "My....wrist....i-it's....fractured"

I went home that day and went to my room. "This is pointless. How could I tell someone as cool Tris, that I want to go to UA." I said to myself. "Especially after what happen with Reo." 

Last year. 

7th grade.

October 12.

After that day, she lost her smile. It's been almost two years, and she still won't smile. I got really angry. "You can't be a hero and you know that!" I threw some of my Crimson Riot books against the wall. One of the hologram disk came out and started playing. "Oh, that. I guess I never watched it." 

"Are you ever scared going in, saving people?" The reporter asked. "What? Of course I am. You show me someone that's not scared and I'll show you an idiot." I looked up at him. "Being scared is part of the job we sign up for." I was scared. I ran out the room without turning off the thing. I rode my bike  over to Tris' house. It takes about 50 minutes on foot, But I was riding my bike really fast, so it took 30 minutes. I needed her. I wanted her help. I know what I wanna do. What I wanna be. It was right in front of me!
