25 | Essence of Human Nature

"...But if the essence of your human nature was indeed bad, ALLAH wouldn't have enabled the devil to whisper evil into your ears because you wouldn't need his whispers to spur you to bad deeds.

If evil indeed was the core of your human heart, then maybe ALLAH would've allowed the angels on your shoulders to whisper good into you ears just like the devil whispers evil into your ears; and maybe He would've disabled the devil to whisper evil into your ears because you would no longer need him to urge you to bad deeds.

But you see, ALLAH made the angels on your shoulders only write down your deeds, but allowed the devil to whisper into your ears. Because what if the essence of your human nature was indeed good and therefore you do not need an angel's whisper to spur you to good deeds like you need the devil's whisper to incite you to evil?"
