chapter 2| Blue Eyes

    Skylar POV

   Finally, after two days of packing and hearing complaints from  lifting heavy objects, we were finally done.  Jason asked our parents if he could go to the park and I agreed to go with him. It wasn't very far from our house. So I took my pastel colored penny board and rode to the park while Jason  was on his bike.  When we finally arrived, I could tell right away that Jason would have no trouble fitting in. There was a bunch of boys his age who immideatley greeted him. I sat on the bench with my penny bored and browsed on social media. I actually had a lot of followers mainly for my looks that I really didnt find attractive. I had long dark brown hair and hazel eyes, it was nothing special. Looks were never an important thing to me. I decided it was time to go do something productive, so I went on my penny board. I was riding along the bike paths when all I heard was" LOOK OUT"! Another boy my age was on his skateboard and he crashed into me. My knee scraped against the hard concrete and started to bleed.  I wasn't the crying type but I did cringe at the sight of blood. Before I could say anything the boy spoke and said." I am so sorry, I wasn't paying attention, are you okay"? I regained my composure and looked up at him and said yes. Right away I got trapped by his deep blue eyes and forgot everything around me. It was like the only thing I could really focus on were those stunning eyes. We stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity. Then he reached hus hand out to help me up. "Hey I'm Nash" he said. "Skylar" I stuttered."That sounds almost like my sisters name" he said. I looked and saw a little blonde girl run up to him. She was the most adorable little girl I'd ever seen in my life. She gave him a big hug, one that I wanted from her and smiled at me. "This is skylnn" he said. She looked at me and said "you're pretty." I smiled and said "thank you" My brother was signaling to me that he wanted to go. " I have to got but, nice meeting you". He waved and said "hopefully I'll see you again". I smiled and walked away I couldn't help but blush.

Nash POV

    Skylar walked away and all I could think about was how beautiful she was. I guess Skylnn realized I was staring so she punched my arm and sand. "NASH IS IN LOVE, NASH IS IN LOVE." I and grabbed her hand and took her home.

Skylar POV

   When,  Jason and I reached home he told me that he was hungry. So being the best big sister I am, went and made him some Kraft Dinner. He absoloutly loved Mac anld cheese. We ate our food and I went up to my room. Outside my bedroom window, was the view of our huge pool. I wanted to swim in it before it got too cold. School was about to start in about a week or two, and I wasn't all excited to have to make new friends. Just thinking of it gave me anxiety. I flopped on my bed and thought about the boy that I met. I had trouble trying to remember his name but then I remembered it was Nash. I smiled and grabbed my phone. Of course I went on social media and browsed, I went onto vine and looked at the most popular ones. I watched the first one and realized that Nash was in it. Then I remembered all the vines I watched with him in it. How could I not remember him. I actually met him! Each of his vines had a lot of views. I shut off my phone and took a cat nap.
