Prologue

Emma had just spent hours in agonising pain looking in her arms she didnt know what was right anymore. Her son looked so much like his father in that moment it hurt her, she was abandoned and forced to face the consequences of Neals crimes after everything and she was sure he had used her. But this child was innocent, maybe he would do the good his father didnt.

She then looked down at the prison nurse who held another bundle, the grey prison blanket wrapped tightly around the silent child, that hadn't cried yet. She was worried, two children is not what she planned. But both where beautiful. She reached round and took the second child into her arms as well. A little girl. Who looked like she was trying so hard to stay awake, kinda reminded Emma of a movie she watched as a kid about a deer, Bambi. She would have a perfect life. Both her children would. For a moment she contemplated changing her mind when she looked at both of them together. They seemed to fit in her arms.

However the decision had been made, she never had a mum how could she expect to be a good one. Especially alone. So she did what she thought was right signed her children away, and preserved there future. Hopefully their lives would be better than hers had.

She continued to tell herself that as the nurse took her children and handed them off to some man in a suit, she continued to tell herself this as she sat in her jail cell for the rest of her sentence and did for the next 11 year until a boy knocked on her door saying he was her son.

She got to know him, uncover the secrets of her past, broke a curse, traveled to a story book land, fought a pirate and a evil queen, even met her Neal again, but where was her daughter, was she happy. Why where twins split up like this. Will she ever see her again and would her little Bambi care if she did. Guess she'll know when the family secrets come out.

Effects on people (mini summaries about the characters view on her)
Dawn comes to story brook after being tracked down by a determined Henry who wanted his family to finally be whole again, and no curse or dark magic will keep him from that.
Neal who had only just discovered he had a son was unprepared for the information that he was actually a father of two. He decides to push any animosity towards his own father aside after Henry turns up at grannies with his sister in order gain her trust.
Emma who relised her mistake in giving up her daughter and how it lead to a very traumatic life, now understanding the need Regina has had for revenge. She works to get over her anger at herself for the pain she inenvertably caused her child, and hopes to gain her respect and love like she had with Henry.
Regina didn't want another Emma in town stealing Henry's attention, however upon meeting the small girl she wishes she could have given her the life she gave Henry as well. She sees her as a second child one who still sees the good in her not the evil queen.
Rumplestiltskin(Mr Gold) had only helped Henry find the girl to make Baefire happy and possibly give him a chance but she made him feel good again, like the magic hadn't destroyed all of him. He wanted to be her grandfather as much as he wanted his son to love him.
Snow and Charming saw Emma in the girl, the childhood they lost with their daughter they wanted her to feel safe with them. They would help raise her and get to the bottom of what happened in her past. She would know what true love is.
Ok I don't know if anyone will read this in time to way in on this, but I have two options for the character that is "Bambi" (nickname)or Dawn(real name).
1. Is that she's like Emma broken but standoffish, finds it hard to trust others, only really trust Henry as he had on choice in what their life would be unlike the adults (at least in her mind). 2. The one I'm leaning towards, what Emma's childhood could have done to her, (her childhood in either story is very traumatic) she's quite, really shy, very scared of everything, but loving and sweet. Pushing herself to make others feel better.
Thinking option 2 but would love opinions if anyone reads this. Not promising anything amazing but... might be ok.
