Disclaimer, the girl ( not revealing her name yet you'll understand why later) is in an abusive house hold. There will be a flashback explaining/describing some of this abuse in this chapter scroll passed it I'll mark the end if you feel it may trigger a traumatic reaction within you. The story should make sense without it as long as you know she has a history of abuse. Also she calls her abuser Master as he has told her that is what she has to refer to him as or else he will hurt her. It is not a kink thing (as kink is consensual for both parties and takes place in a safe space) he is dehumanising her by taking away her choices. She is 11 so if anything he would be a parental figure exerting power and abuse. Just a warning for you/ explanation.

Recap

the water rose and floated out of the well creating a small mirror, or bubble that rippled. Slowly an image was formed in the reflection, except it wasn't any of the people there.

It was a girl with long blond hair and big brown eyes. It was her. For the first time ever Henry was seeing the sister he didn't even know existed until about an hour ago. He was now more determined to meet her than ever as he watched the next few minutes of her life play right before his very eyes.

"That's her right, theres no way its someone else and the magic got it wrong. That right there is my sister 100%" I was desperately clinging to the hope that this was real and not a dream. This girl exists, she's alive and has a life. She is out in the world somewhere.

Grandpa Gold, took a breath "Yes dearie thats her, unless you have some more missing siblings running around the world" it was an irritated joke like tone he spoke in but at the moment I'm not sure, that joke could be right for all I know. "Seems she's in a diner somewhere, I'd say America but I'm still not accustomed to this world so can't promise anything". I hadn't even noticed that she was wandering around what looked like a diner similar to Grannies, wearing what looked like a uniform, including an apron. That sparked a red flagged to me.

"Why, is she working in a diner, we are the same age it's not legal for someone that young to be employed" what if she really is in danger, what if someone's forcing her to work, what If she's like Emma and ran away alone after she was adopted out.

Belle being the more nurturing of the two adults present saw my panic and tried to reason with me though it didn't help as much as it probably should have, "maybe its a family business, and she works there to help out, you shouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly its not good for your health". Her points made sense, they where logical explanations of what was happening. "Maybe we should watch and see what happens, see if you recognise anything around her, then you can go visit and explain the situation. See if she wants to meet", knowing shes right, I turned and watched the mirror like image of my twin. Watching closely the next few minutes, more like hours, of her life for any clues as to where in the world she may be.

Today has been such a busy day. The diner has been packed since it opened this morning which is unusual for a week day but that's just my lucky. I owe Nancy big time for letting me take my break during the lunch rush because I "fell" down the stairs this morning on my way out my building. Considering she is my landlords wife she knows how clumsy I have always been. She was nice enough to let me work for her in exchange for lowering our rent to make it more affordable for 'Him' who is a contractor so time between jobs can vary from month to month. Yet he always seems to make it home in time for a drink. Last night was pretty tame if I think about it, he was in a pretty good mood, doesn't mean I'm not in pain, he has never been that happy to do nothing. That would be to easy for me, I can't stop repeating the events over and over in my head every time I ache.
