You had what now?

Hi look Henry is really angry in this chapter. He kinda judgmental of Emma and giving them both up. I am not in anyway dissing adoption, it's just how I imagine he would be after his reaction to Neal. No offence meant by it, thank you. Enjoy.
Chapter 2

Henry POV

"I had twins"

I thought I heard her wrong till I looked around the diner, apparently people had been listening in to our conversation and everyone stopped, they where all staring at our table in shock.

What do I do in this situation? So many emotions are swirling around my mind, confusion, uncertainty, anger. She must have said the wrong thing, or was trying to make a joke to ease the tension. I mean Emma only has one kid. Me. I'm an only child, I was put up for adoption as a baby after being born in jail. Then adopted by the evil queen who raised me alone until the book found it's way to me, I found Emma, my mum, the curse was broken, we found Neal, my dad and that's the end. Life is already complicated how can it get more tangled.

"You had what now?, Emma I think all this fairy tale stuff has gone to your head your making up your own now." Neal laughed but it doesn't look like he finds this funny either. He seems to not know what she's talking about but then again he just found out about me.

"Ok I know, it sounds crazy. That's not how I wanted to say it" Emma was a mess, she was stuttering and shaking, the more she spoke the more I believed her and the angrier I became. " when I had Henry, I also had another child at the same time, Henry was the oldest twin" she turned and looked directly in my eyes, her gaze no longer wavering and she had a new confidence for only a second "you have a twin sister".

I lost it at that point almost blacking out in anger, more lies from my biological mother. It was to much and I couldn't stop what happened next.

No POV

'"What do you mean I have a sister, a TWIN sister" Henry was shaking visibly it could be seen by everyone in the diner, he had never been this angry before, not when Emma tried to leave him or even when he found out the truth about his father, this was new and a reminder to all just who had raised him in the first place. "You have got to be joking me, either that or you really are a better liar than I thought on par with Regina, I am an only child, you had me in jail, gave me up and now we are here. Are you telling me it's more messed up than it already seems. I mean my adoptive mother is my Grandmothers, step mother who tried to kill her. How is my life more complicated than that, explain to me how I never knew I had a sister. A twin sister at that".

Henry was clearly upset to say the least and Neal he was frozen like he hadn't heard Emma at all, he sat there looking at her, numb to every thing even Henry, his newly discovered son who was clearly inconsolable and finding it hard to calm down." I didn't think you would be separated, when you found me and she wasn't here to I was confused but I wasn't suppose  to stay as long as I did and have, but I love you kid and we grew closer and then Neal happened and I new I had to tell you" Emma's quick explanation or validation of her actions did not help Neal understand at all or Henry calm down for that matter. In fact it made them both think more about how wrong the situation was. How much she did wrong and how messed up the situation was. It made Henry think if they hadn't found Neal would she even be telling them this and it knocked Neal himself from his frozen state.

"So you lied to us, again. What the hell Emma, why didn't you tell us this in New York and don't give me crap about, 'if you hadn't left you'd know' cause we both know that's not gonna work a second time" Neal let his anger out as a short and contained burst, he didn't want to over escalate the already bad situation but how do you justify this, two children, both he missed out on a lot in their lives, one he had yet to meet and apologise to. "How do you suggest we fix this hu Emma... what do we do.. we got lucky with Henry and the whole destiny and a book wanted you here to break a curse so we see him again yay what about this other child hu out 'daughter'" Henry did not like the use of hand gestures, putting daughter in quotation marks didn't sit well with him in the slightest, that was his sister even if he hadn't met her and Neal didn't seem to put her in the same category as he did Henry because she wasn't here.

"I put them both up for closed adoption, I mean I'm good at finding people it was my job but I'm not sure if we could find her, legally she doesn't need to be told about me and if she is she might not be able to look herself tell she's 18, I did try to check up on her when I found Henry and all they could tell me is that they had to separate them as whoever was offered them would not take twins, Gold acquired Henry for Regina meaning he said no to twins, not that I'm blaming him just... they could only tell me she was adopted out at around 6 years old to a different family, they couldn't tell me names or locations because of data protection. So she must be safe at least" Henry's anger was bubbling over more and more, not only did he have a sister but he'd  probably never meet her and his no their mother was resigned to that outcome, like it was ok to know only one of your children. He never felt empty before just hearing that he had a sister out in the world doing who knows what, made him want to be apart of her life. He wanted to be able to talk to her about their parents and tell her about the book and how fairy tales are real and way cooler than she'd ever imagined, introduce her to their grandparents and his other mother, have a life together with their families. But from how Emma spoke that was all out of the question just a childish dream that would never be a reality.

"Is there anything else you can tell me about my sister, seeing as you have given up on finding her, I know if I hadn't found you you wouldn't have looked for either of us but I thought being a mother figure to me changed your opinion just a bit but no... you don't seem to care you have a daughter out their living a lie, I mean my mums the evil queen what could her family life be like" Henry said with venom no one expected from the boy " do you even care, I mean that we got split up and that you missed out on your daughter or is that just convenient for you". Emma didn't know what to say, of course she regretted giving up her kids Henry showed her that, and of course she wanted to see her daughter again if she was anything like Henry she'd be extraordinary, she was just giving out the facts not saying she's giving up all together.

"Look kid I'm not giving up, I want to see her again you made me want to be a mum of sorts, I want to be sure she's safe wherever she is and loved which I'm sure she is, I don't know what to tell you about her I mean she was a baby, you both where" Emma reached back into her mind she wanted to give the child something, anything she could about his sister since he so desperately wanted to know " she had brown eyes very much like yours obviously they run in the family, unlike you she had tuffs of blond hair growing on her head but she might have grown out of that.... ummm I remember I called her Bambi, ironically that's the only fairy tale character I haven't met yet" her goal of gaining a laugh to defuse the tension didn't work but Henry did hold on to the snippets of information that was given like he was living off them in that moment. He could imagine based off his own baby photos a small big brown eyed baby with blond hair like their mothers looking around so innocently to be dubbed Bambi  by a woman who didn't plan to keep them. That was all he needed to light a fire and gain some momentum before anyone could utter another word he jumped from his seat at the booth and sped out the door. He was a boy on a mission and only new one place to go, one person with an affinity for deals that found him and therefor may be able to find his sister to.

While Emma and Neal sat in the booth contemplating everything that happened wondering weather to follow the boy or talk amongst themselves to find more of the truth. "Henry is right Emma, we need to at least know what her life's like maybe at least have them both meet, I mean if whoever adopted her is reasonable they should agree to that right" Neal spoke rationally though his thoughts where everywhere deciding it best to leave the boy for now, knowing he would never go to far. "I mean this is in no way a good situation or the ideal approach but we have to do something for Henry"

"Your right, your good at hiding, I'm good at finding people. Let's work together and find our daughter for Henry's sake" They may have been in a conflicted agreement but they both had no idea where Henry had gone or that he had decided to take matters into his own hand enlisting some magical help.

Henry POV

A bell chimed  signalling my entry into the shop "hello boy, how can I help you today, seeing as you ignored my closed sign" Mr Gold or Rumlestiltskin the king of deals, the dark one and one of the few in storybrook who still had magic.

"I want you to help me find someone" Henry spoke quickly with purpose "I want to strike a deal Grandpa"
