Chapter 2

I slowly walk over and grab the note. I look up at him while unfolding it while he is walking backwards and staring at me. He winks again and turns around.
I finish unfolding the sticky note and look down to see what it says

Yo I'm Tony! Call me maybe?

I look up and fold the sticky note, put it in my phone case so I don't forget, and I quietly squeal to myself. I sit there for a few minutes still in shock that I got his number but eventually I came to my senses that I probably look really stupid and I decided to continue shopping.
I go around the store, picking up the things I need and once I finished, I went to check out. The line was super long for every register except one, so of course, I choose that one. It was self checkout, so I scanned all my items, put them in bags, and then paid. I walked out and went to my car.
After I put all the groceries in my trunk and sit in the drivers seat to text my best friend, Eleana.

Anna (you) : I just got the cutest guys number!
Eleana: Lucky! I might be single forever to be honest
Anna: I'll let you know how it goes 😘
Eleana: I wish the best 😋
Anna: Thanks 😊 btw I still have that shirt I borrowed last week
Eleana: Keep it! You might need it 😉😉
Anna: Whatever 😂 I'll talk to you later!
Eleana: ok bye!

I drive home and and put all the groceries away. Ice Cream in the freezer, drinks in the fridge, and everything else in the pantry.
After that, I go change into these pajamas

I then go get leftover spaghetti from last night and put it on a plate and heat it up. I sit on the couch eating and watching "Outerbanks". Once I'm done, I clean my plate off and get my phone. I pull his number out and I type it into my phone.

Anna: Hey Tony, I'm Anna (from the store)

I put my phone down and continue watching the show but almost automatically, I get a text.

Tony: Oh hey! Wyd
Anna: nothing much. Watching "Outerbanks" like everyone else with Netflix lol
Tony: me too 🤣 it's so good isn't it?
Anna: Amazing 😂
Tony: FaceTime?
Anna: Sure!

We FaceTime for a while and it was a lot of fun. We joked around with each other and talked about life and other things and then he says something that makes me super happy!

"Do you want to maybe hang out tomorrow?" He says
"Yeah! That would be a lot of fun!"
"I'll text you my address in the morning! Can you come around 11?"
"Sure!"

After that we just say ok and then continue talking for a little while. In the middle of the FaceTime call, I got up, turned my tv off and went to my bedroom. I laid in bed and had my phone, plugged in, leaning on a lamp. Before I know it, I had fallen asleep. 💤
